I have dogs who, for years, have had seasonal allergies. From spring to early fall, they have to take allergy pills (sometimes predisone when it gets bad) and they still have some itching from the pollen in the air and grass. Poor guys. I've tried other shampoos and never really felt that the anti-itch "factors" helped until this one. The tea tree oil and natural, coconut-based cleansers seem very gentle and rinse cleanly. The tea tree oil does have a potent scent, but that scent doesn't linger on their fur after they dry (don't worry... I was afraid the smell would be too powerful for them to stand, but after you rinse off the shampoo, that dissipates entirely. By bedtime they had no shampoo scent on their fur at all, but they felt wonderfully clean). Now their coats are shiny, and their itchiness has died down. I plan to use this every 1-2 weeks to help during allergy season.

My dog was constantly scratching, itching, having flaky dry skin and with just a few uses of this shampoo his fur is so soft and skin is not dry. He stopped scratching entirely! My vet sold me a smaller bottle shampoo for over $40 and I really regret buying it, this shampoo does the same thing for a fraction of the cost. Oh and it smells wonderful!! So fresh and minty, the one from the vet was not a pleasant smell - it was some kind of medicated smell. Bottom line - try this before buying an expensive shampoo from your vet!

My Sadie girl already feels better. Her scratching has stopped with just one shampoo! Has a very pleasing scent too without overwhelming. Just smells clean. I would recommend this to anyone for their dog when there are skin issues. Sadie slept like a log last night.

This stuff is the only stuff that works for my border collie mix. he gets awful hot spots where his fur just seems to disappear all over his legs. i'm not sure it is hot spots, but the skin becomes pink-even around the pads on his paws. I shampoo him with the shampoo, then put the Espree hot spot stuff on, and instantly no more crying. after a couple of weeks (bathing once a week and putting hot spot stuff on every other day or so) it is no longer a problem. Thank God for Espree Shampoo and hot spot treatment.

This shampoo calmed my dogs' skin, which was irritated by yeast and allergies. It smells good and makes their fur silky. I wish that it were certified by Leaping Bunny as cruelty-free. It does say "cruelty-free" on the bottle, but it's hard to know what that means without third-party certification.

I purchased this and the matching conditioner. My Phoebe had acquired a skin allergy of some sort and my groomer suggested this product. There was a marked improvement in the flaking and itching after the very first bath. This is now a permanent part of her home grooming routine. Just love it.

I mix this half and half with the espree flea shampoo for my maltese because I think she has eczema + sensitive skin. It's always nice to know that I can prevent/kill fleas and treat her dry itchy skin at the same time. She smells nice and it makes her coat super soft. I will def be repurchasing

I have used this shampoo for a number of years on my Miniature Schnauzers and love it. It keeps their skin moisturized and coat shiny, and smells good also. They have never had any skin problems at all and as a breed they are prone to it, so feel that this shampoo does indeed work well.
