Okay, so here's the strange thing. I purchased this product twice, once in January and once in March, and got two different products. In January, I received a two-sided button, bright white on one side and black on the other side, each marked with "Dealer." It was clearly new. I like it, and the guys playing my game liked it too. In March, I ordered another one, wanting to add to my collection so I could potentially host a tournament with multiple tables playing simultaneously. This one, which I just received, is clearly used. The color is more ivory-ish (like the picture), and there are some very light scratches and wear on the rubber surrounds.

Funny thing is, I like them both. The fact that the second one is used doesn't bother me too much. It's a button. All it has to do is sit there with the word "Dealer" on it, and it does that successfully. I like it because it is a nice weight and feels professional. The fact that it was apparently used (presumably in a casino) just gives it a bit of character, in my view. It's not like used playing cards or something else that would be less useful by virtue of it being used. If for some reason you want your button to be shiny and pristine, you may want to consider this a roll of the dice, and you might have to return it if you receive a used one. But I'm not going to return mine. It's a fine, sturdy button.

I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers got when they purchased this button, but I got exactly what I wanted and expected.

It's a cue ball white sort of a semi-gloss finish. It'a about 3" in diameter and about and inch thick. Has a real nice weight and slides on my felt table top very nicely. It's easy to spot due to the size and color.

If you're looking for a professional style dealer button and are willing to pay a little more....look no further.

This is a 3 inch diameter button. If you are not good with measurements, go find a ruler or something. This is a huge button. At first, I though it would be way too big for my table, but the truth is, I really like it. It weights much more than your regular plastic button and glides over speed cloth really nicely. Just be careful when you pass it on to the next player. You could end up playing bowling with his chips.

I've had the same experience as other reviewers here. Item arrived broken, had clearly been used before. The broken piece (rubber lining) was not even in the package, excluding the possibility of a transport related shock.

This is either horrendous quality control or outright FRAUD.

It's a solid piece of plastic with rubber bumpers... Really, what can go wrong? In the end, there are no manufacturing defects and the product does exactly what it's supposed to do... It's a large, high visibility dealer button suitable for home game or professional use.

I originally owned the smallish, super-cheap plastic button that came with a set of poker chips. Predictably, it disappeared without a trace between our games. I was annoyed, so I wanted something that would be harder to lose and would be a bit more impressive. We take our poker seriously.

Well, this is a very solid oversized dealer button. With its heavy weight and rubber bumpers on the side, I really like the feel.

Two warnings:

I was testing the construction of the button when I accidentally rolled one of the rubber bumpers off. It wasn't too difficult to remove. I could definitely see somebody doing it if they're bored and fiddling with it roughly. However, I was able to just "roll" the bumper back into place. There is a groove where it fits in nicely, and I don't think I did any real damage, but it's worth mentioning.

The big issue is that the color of the button I was sent is decidedly "ivory". Just to be clear, when I say ivory, I really mean something like "yellowish off-white", not "fancy and expensive-looking." The picture shows a bright white dealer button. The product in my hands is not even close to being bright and shiny. I really doubt anybody from my game is going to care, but I'm a stickler, so I've got to take a star off for the difference between the photo and the reality.

Other than that, what else is there to say? It's large, it's heavy, and it has "DEALER" written in big letters on it. Overall, I like it a lot.
