This bell rocks! I'm a 2nd grade teacher & found this bell in a teacher catalog the beginning of 2009-2010 school year! I have never seen or heard of this bell before & ordered it the same day I got the catalog! Plus none of my teachers buddies had ever heard of this bell! There are sooooooo many uses for it & not just in the classroom! I use specific bell rings for specific things in the classroom, like for center rotations, math activities, etc. The sky is the limit with this bell! It was even used in our 2nd Grade Christmas play! I use it for academic pep rallies, book character parade, etc. The students love it! I use a certain ring when students are rewarded from the treasure chest! It's very sturdy too, I've dropped it on cement, on tile & no harm done! I also use it at tailgating & family events! Everyone gets a kick out of the bell! It has a volume button, I don't bring it into the stadium, you can't hear it in stadium on it's loudest setting, so it's perfect for tailgating before the game! And I haven't had to change the batteries yet, that's surprising since I use it so much! GEAUX Rajun Cajuns!

My students and I loved the bell. I even taught some procedures based on the noises the bell made. If they heard the trumpet they would stand, etc. However the bell only lasted me 3 months. I fell a $20 bell should last more than 3 months which is why I am giving it 2 two stars. If you don't mind purchasing several bells to make it through the school year than I would highly recommend it.

I bought this for my kids, who love to play school. It is LOUD, which I guess is needed to get attention in the classroom, but at home, it'll make you crazy. It has a great variety of sounds and is easy to use. I set the volume and my kids are not allowed to change it, so that has been a suitable compromise.

This product works so great in our classrooms. When the bell rings they know it is time to quiet down and listen to their teacher. They love the bell too. The teachers really love it. Great idea just doesn't work as well as I'd like. The issue is that there is a delay in when it is tilted and then the electronic sounds kick in. Also not in love with the sound options. We use it to announce sales when they're made in the sales office. A few of the sound choices work for us but there are 2 that are just unnecessary and I can't find a use for them. Your mileage may vary I'm sure.
