So I bought this harness because I take my 6 lb. Yorkie into work in the a.m. and I just needed a harness to keep on her along with her leash so I can stop her from going into any of the other offices. I had a similar one and it worked fine. This one is pretty hard to keep straightened out with all the buckles. It gets twisted up, the clasp part gets totally twisted and it is kind of pain in the rear end to get on her.

Maybe it will work for others, but not so much for me.

i was really bummed out with this thing. yes it fits. yest it clips. yes it will hold the full force of my chocolate pit. but they are too lazy to trim the seams and melt/meld them. so what you get are the ends of the nylon on the outside. i appreciate that they didnt stick them on the inside, where it could rub my dog raw. but i dont appreciate my baby girl looking like a hobo.

go with the rogz harnesses. they scream quality and extra mile.

The snap buckle is very difficult to hook and unhook. If you have hands that are not in prime condition you will probably have a hard time with the buckle on this harness. Otherwise the harness is made well and should last a long time. But we can't use it due to our hand strength issues.

We ordered two of these harnesses (for both our dogs), one in purple and one in lime. We opted for these because Hamilton also made collars in the same colors (Hamilton Double Thick Nylon Deluxe Dog Collar, 1-Inch by 22-Inch, Lime Green), and since the dogs wear different sizes, color-coding is an advantage.

The picture shows a triangular metal piece that I assume is supposed to be part of how it adjusts, but it doesn't exist on the harnesses we got, and that's probably a good thing because it looks uncomfortable to me. The straps are attached to strong metal rings and the parts that adjust are made of quality plastic. Over all, I'm pretty pleased with this product, though there's a bit of a learning curve. It's a bit confusing at first to figure out how it goes on the dog, then once you work it out, it's tough to get it adjusted correctly (or maybe that's just because we have very active, excitable and large puppies, which can make just about anything tough). It might be easier with a calm adult dog.

But now that we have the hang of it (and they're used to being harnessed), they go on pretty easily, even when they're really excited. I can get them on in about 15 seconds and the dogs are over a third my body weight, almost half my height and aren't huge fans of having their paws touched. I just lay it on the floor in front of them, pick up their upper body and set their feet in, then pull it up and snap it. It's even easier to get off. Just unsnap it and let it fall and they walk out of it.

It works great. We got it for Barney after he slipped his regular collar on Park Avenue at 58th Street in New York City. The sight of our little Corgi headed south to fulfill his life-long desire of seeing the Statue of Liberty was terrifying. Running around and under yellow cabs to demonstrate his agility was not an experience we wanted to repeat.

The reviews were iffy, but I think a reasonably smart person can get this to fit any dog snugly during a station break or two.

We have an extra large chocolate lab (weighing in at 139) and it was really hard to find a harness that was big enough. This one works great. It is a lot easier to control the pace and pulling when he is wearing the harness vs. just the leash alone, and I don't feel like I am hurting/choking him when he tries to run ahead. The color is bright and looks great against his brown coat. I might buy a second one in another color!

I am happy with this harness. The fact that it is thicker in width makes it seems easier to put on and when you unbuckle it your puppy can just step over it. I want to order at least one more and I would certainly recommend this product.

The shipping and sales was wonderful no complaints however for the product it's self, the fit for our dog in the chest piece was very very short. To small in that area but had it been adjustable there it would have been a good harness.
