Due to health concerns I'd never bought a non-stick pan until these "green" ones came out. It seems the surface of these is basically glass, with no chemicals.

This is a sturdy and attractive pot that heats quickly. I bought it mostly for boiling milk, especially skim milk, which sticks like a son of a gun with stainless steel.

No stick with this pot. The rounded upper edge facilitates pouring. Frustration turned to joy.

I wanted a small pot just to make such things as hard boiled eggs, etc. and thought this would be perfect. It is a bit light, but cooks well for the simple things that I need and cleans easily; however, I see that after only a few weeks the coating on the rim of the pot is wearing off. This pot does not go in a dishwasher, nor do I frequently use the lid. If the anodized surface is beginning to wear off, it does not bode well for the durability of the product.

This little pan has become my go-to for all sauce recipes and for...scrambled eggs! Jamie Oliver's method works great in this pan as you can cook the eggs slowly while stirring to get a velvety smooth result without any sticking. And clean-up is easy...nothing sticks! I don't know how long the non-stick will last as some reviewers have mentioned that the surface changes over time. But I have not had any problems with it thus far and it is getting used almost daily.

This is the 2nd Cuisinart cooking item we bought. The fry pan has been great, but care has to be taken with heating, cleaning properly, and cooking utensils only wood or plastic types. So, have not had the one quart pot as long, but so far it is great. No sticking at all, very easy to clean, really easier than I thought, but seems easier after a while. And worth the extra trouble caring for it, especially as it lacks some of those nasty chemicals from the older non stick pans, that I have several that are old and even damaged. I probably should throw all of the damaged ones out. I have a tendency to forget something is cooking, which I am not proud of. So, I keep trying setting extra timers. Stainless steel is still something I will use, but I tried oatmeal, and it's just a bit too sticky. I miss just a soak and throwing pans in dishwasher, but these are actually really easy. Thanks to fellow reviewers on tips for using these cuisinarts properly! It really helps!
After more than a month: the small pot is fine, but I find it's easier to use stainless steel for not too sticky items. But still love the 1 qt pot; have used the fry pan more often, and taking extremely good care as recommended, eggs are starting to stick a little. I just hope it doesn't get much worse. Adjusted 5 to 4 star. Would still buy another!

Never, EVER, EVER, EVER put one of these in the dishwasher! One guest did and the outside base is chauk in color but the inside is great.
I'm staying with stainless steel. If you have guests at your house and you are not totally present when the dishwasher loads, you, too, will be disappointed. I still use the pot, and Cuisinart has been a spectacular brand in our "foodie" house! Just make sure that over-zealous cleaner-upper's, don't destroy your precious cookware! I'm a foodie and a chef, and I can't always be present to win! The product is very good with sauces w/ wooden spoons (no stainless).

Many years ago, we were told not to cook with Teflon around our pet bird or it would die. That being the case, I didn't want my food to come in contact with non-stick surfaces & always used stainless steel. I just love the new ceramic non-stick pots and pans. I bought a set for my son and daughter. I just rinse them out after using - they clean right up. These are good, heavy pans and are great for cooking. I've never had a problem with them.

I use this pan once or twice daily. Had for a few months and still like new.
I make sure not to scratch the pan and always dry immediately after cleaning.
Also, I avoid just throwing in with my other pans, to keep the pan like new.
The pan is eco-friendly and so appreciate that fact. Also, I have two other pans
in the GreenGourmet Family, and happy with all the pans from the family. They
come from a great company - Cuisinart who makes excellent products.
