500 count, rounded on both ends, long enough to stir most travel mugs. Made in China, unfortunately, but very reasonably priced. No smell, and wood does not appear to impact the taste of the coffee. Box came wrapped in plastic. Great for disposable office use, which is why I bought these for my firm. No more plastic! I prefer wood to plastic because the flat wood stirrers mix sweeteners/cream into drinks more quickly and thoroughly, in my opinion.

We had the 5 1/2" size (same brand) previously and are so much happier with the 7 1/2" size. They seem to be a little thicker than the shorter ones. More substantial. the extra length is nice, too. Will buy these again.

This is my second order, so yes, I'm pleased with them. They are very long, so can be used in any size mug or iced tea glass. Once in a great while I'll pull one out that is kind of split or broken, but most are just fine. I imagine even a crafter could make use of them instead of popsicle sticks, if the need wasn't for heavy duty.

I was looking for similar wood sticks as they have at the chain coffee shops. I've noticed that the plastic sticks have a potential of seeping an unwanted chemical taste to hot drinks so when I decided to go with wood sticks it seemed like a good move, however, finding wood stick stirrers that were sturdy and of the same quality as the chain coffee shops was difficult. I finally found these sticks which are of quality and of the right size for 12oz and 16oz drinks.

Amazon sent me these Royal Wood Stirrers as a mistake when I ordered the Poly King wooden stirrers which I'd just run out of.

At first I just thought that the packaging had changed so I opened this brand and began usng them...and right away could tell they were much thinner and very spindly. They bent and flexed so much as I stirred my coffee with sugar that I started to think I'd need to use two of them together.

So I contacted Amazon and even though I'd opened them and used some they agreed to allow me to return them. Thank you Amazon.

I made sure the new shipment was the Poly King stirrers and when I used them I could tell immediately that they were thicker and stronger...and they don't flex and bend around like they are going to break.

BTW...next time I'll order the 1000 count Poly Kings...which are the same price as the 500 count box.

These serve the purpose and are a very good price. I'd say about %15 are messed up in some way: bent, broken, splintery or sharp. All in all, they are a fine product. I ordered these over a year ago and I'm just now about to run out. Don't think I'll re-order these though. There are so many options on Amazon.
