Amazon.com Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description Weighing under half an ounce, the Jabra BT8040 works as both a standard communication headset for your mobile phone as well as a wireless music headset (mono). It also feature a third-generation Jabra ear gel for a comfortable in-ear fit without a hook.

The Jabra BT8040 enables you to listen to streaming music from compatible devices as well as take and make calls (see a larger schematic of all controls).
The BT8040 offers digital sound processing (DSP) technology and intelligent volume controls to reduce background noise for crisp, sharp sound, as well as e-SCO technology for crystal clear voice transfer between headset and phone. Listening to Music
The Jabra BT8040 is capable of streaming music over Bluetooth--either from a mobile phone or any other Bluetooth device supporting A2DP. Once you have paired your BT8040 with your mobile phone or to the Bluetooth music player, use your phone or music player to play, pause, stop, skip forward, or backward. When you receive a call, the music will be automatically suspended and you will be able to answer or reject a call through the headset. Once you end a call, the music should restart. On some phones and music devices you may have to press "play" to restart the music.

Using Jabra BT8040 with Two Mobile Phones
Jabra BT8040 is capable of having two mobile phones (or Bluetooth devices) connected to the headset at the same time. This will give you the freedom of having only one headset to operate both of your mobile phones. Please note that Last Number Redial will dial the number from the last outgoing call, independent of the mobile phones, and the Voice Dialing function will only work on the last paired mobile phone.

5.0 out of 5 stars G R E A T, June 30, 2009
This review is from: Jabra BT8040 Bluetooth Headset Retail Packaging (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Great product and great price. I went to [...] to see what would be the best bluetooth and they highly recommended this product. I was using a Jawbone II and have put it away, because this product gives me better service.

I have recommended this product to others and they have purchased one from this vendor.

4.0 out of 5 stars paired great with my BB Curve, July 2, 2009
This review is from: Jabra BT8040 Bluetooth Headset Retail Packaging (Wireless Phone Accessory)
At first I couldn't get it to pair using the enclosed users manual, so it referred you to their website. Once I followed the steps on the website for my specific phone, it only took less than a minute and works just great! It's a deal, I can't afford those fancy Jawbone headsets. You can pair it with multiple devices very easily as well. Just toggle and go.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does a lot in a very small package, June 25, 2009
This is the only in-the-ear I've ever come across that stays put for me. It's strikingly tiny and lightweight. I have to echo what I've heard regarding the fact that it doesn't quite feel like it will stay in but somehow it just does. That minimal footprint translates into a fair amount of comfort as well. The battery life and sound quality for calls is good but not great. More than adequate for me and I should add that the range is outstanding. The ability to play music is nice and I find myself actually using it more than I thought I would. Music sound quality was a pleasant surprise. The buttons have received some criticism, but on a headset of this size I can't see any place to put them that would be better. It's so small and light that you're not going to be pushing a button anywhere that isn't going to move it. The fact that you have to push in towards your ear a little doesn't bother me and other than that the action is light and positive. This is not a Voyager 510, nor does it try to be. If you are looking for a tiny headset that works very well I don't think you're going to beat this one - especially at the price.
