  • The 46 intermixable colors are available in 45ml bottles: 35 deep and glossy transparent colors, 10 particularly opaque and covering shimmer colors with iridescent effects, and 1 chalkboard effect color
  • The paint is tack free in a few minutes, and fully dry after a minimum of 24-hours; once fully dry, it may be baked for 35 minutes in a domestic oven at 150-degree c (300-degree f) for an enameled finish and dishwasher resistance
  • The porcelaine 150 paint can be applied on porcelain, china, glazed earthenware, terracotta, metal, enameled sheet steel, copper and glass
  • To thin the colors, use the Porcelaine 150 thinner; For brush application, it is recommended to use Pebeo Cobra deco or Iris brushes; Clean brushes with soapy water
  • Once baked according to the instructions on the bottle, the colors are permanent, microwave safe, uv resistant and have remarkable resistance to dishwashing and to normal detergents

Love the Pebeo Porcelaine line, not sure why previous reviewers were giving it bad ratings for not being Chalkboard paint when nowhere in this description does it say THIS is the chalkboard version. This is Anthracite Black, not Chalkboard Black! Chalkboard version is Pebeo Porcelaine 150 China Paint 45-Milliliter Bottle, Chalkboard Black. Great product, good alternative to Vitrea if you're looking for a more opaque palette.

This ink works well, but I am perplexed about what kind of brush to use to apply it. I have tried a few different ones, but they all apply the ink too thin. I prefer the pen version of this product because it lays the ink down thicker. (However the pen dries out pretty quickly which is why I switched to this).

What is up with the people giving low stars because it is not chalk board paint?
This product has no description of chalkboard paint. That is another product altogether by the same company o.O
Otherwise, I dig this product a ton. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because it does tend to need extra layers to look right. Otherwise, perfect.
Ill update this review later as I get more experience :)

This a really good product and acts like it is promised however there are a few things you should consider:
This is more of a gel then an opaque paint which makes it a bit odd to work with at first. You can achieve a nice solid black but it will take a few coats, which isn't a bad thing if you want to create some nice shadows. It has a lovely glossy finish resilience when baked.

I'm very particular when it comes to paint and ink. I put this one in an empty paint pen and I loved how it came out. I haven't tried painting it with a brush yet, but I would expect it to have the same outcome. I highly recommend pebeo :)

If you want to paint or draw on porcelain or glass, this is IT. It will probably last you your life unless you plan on using it every day, or something. It is so easy to use and looks great. LOVE IT.
