Ease of Use
Black and White Locking Blade Connectors from Leviton feature ergonomic, fluted body design with radial grip ridge is ideal for gripping, turning and pulling. The cord clamp does not have to be disassembled from body for wiring—accepting wire mesh connection strain reliefs. Transparent wiring chambers provide a means of visual inspection of conductors and terminals and color-coded terminal screws provide easy identification. Cleat on contacts cuts oxidation when plug blades enter contact surfaces.
Superior Performance
Our Black and White Locking Connectors are constructed of super tough nylon body resists damage from severe impact, abrasion and chemicals. The one-piece, rivet less .035 inch thick brass connector contacts and solid brass plug blades provide maximum conductivity and long service life conductivity and long service life. The internal wiring chambers isolate individual conductors to prevent flashover, arcing, and stray strands of wire. The External cord clamp utilizes deep triple drive steel screws that are backed out and positioned inside shrouded pockets. The Cable gage identifies maximum cord size allowed with strain relief insert and the combination #10-32 deep slotted/Phillips brass screws withstand high torque.
