Like another reviewer, I am using this as a tool to remove prints from a 3D Printer bed (PEI).

I lapped the bottom surface on a diamond plate (but fine sandpaper on a flat surface would also work) to flatten and smooth it, and very slightly beveled the lower edges so they could not catch or dig into the PEI surface. I put a 40 degree bevel on the top edge.

Kept flat against the bed, it is easy to work this tool under a print with light pressure and a side-to-side "rocking" motion (but keeping it flat against the bed at all times). The thin profile allows very gradual separation of the print from the bed without damaging either.

Thank you for your speedy service.It's very nice painting knife but I think I should have ordered a knife in the same design but a little smaller. My hand has some trouble controlling it because of my hand and the size of the knife.

Solid piece of hardware and perfect for peeling 3D prints off the glass build-surface. The metal end is quite sharp and you should use caution when applying force. The handle feels cheap, but is quite solid and will do the job required of it.

This isn't a toy and I don't recommend it as a toy, so I'm not sure why Amazon's making me rate it like a toy. Anyway...I'm a casual hobbyist painter, and had been looking for some knives to mix acrylic paint on a glass table top. I had tried plastic knives (don't waste your time/money), and other metal knives from a local art supply store, but all of them left trails of paint behind after scraping. I bought this and some other Liquitex knives, hoping they would cleanly scrape paint from glass, and they do a much, much better job. Though obviously pricier, the Liquitex knives have a finer edge, and seem to be much better quality as well.

Love this painting knife - in fact, it's my very favorite for creating my abstract acrylic paintings. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who paints. It is a wonderful spreader for paint and the edge and tip can be used for making various lines and marks. Superb workmanship and cleans up well.

Nice knife. As with all the other large scale knives from liquitex, this is a bit stitffer than some may be used to. I prefer that rigidity for larger scale work. Nicely sculpted handle and it seems like it will last.
