I bought this to put by my baby's changing table so I wouldn't have to turn the light on when changing him at night. I got it when he was about a week old and he is now six weeks old and from the start he has shown an active interest in the light. He turns towards it and stares at it and recently started cooing and smiling at the light and touching it with his fingers. Sometimes when he is being fussy, I set him up in his rock and play with the light on in his lap and it works to calm him on occasion. I bought it in orange and it appears to be good quality. It's been about 5 weeks of regular use and I have not had to change the batteries yet.

I bought 3, green, blue and pink for my kids which are 6, 2 and 3 months. All 3 of my kids were silent went I laid them down for bedtime with these bears. They lasted all night long and were cool to the touch throughout the night as well. There is 2 ways to light up Mr. Gummy Bear, with 2 AA batteries or DC power (5v-9v) adapter into the DC jack located on the lower back. This nightlight does NOT come with the plug so you'll have to buy that separately. I will update my review after a few weeks and let everyone know how the battery has held up.
UPDATE::
It is now September 1st and the batteries just died. Haven't replaced them before this. I am very happy with this purchase and very happy with how long the batteries lasted.
