This was exactly the case I was looking for. I have a Bushmaster Carbon-15 and I had just changed the optic on it and added 45 degree BUIS. I was having problems finding a good case for it. I saw this case with the specs on it and decided to go for it. I was not disappointed. I was able to make a cutout for my AR and with enough room left over, make a cutout for my Saiga-12.

Had space left over to add a cutout for the bi-pod as well as the optic I use for my Saiga.

This is by far the nicest case I've ever owned. It houses my scoped AR15 and 7 magazines with room to spare. Cutting the foam can be a bit of a hassle, but it's worth the effort to get a perfect fit. Do yourself a favor and Google search "pelican case foam cutting" and read everything on the first page before beginning. There's several great tips and tricks on the web that you can use to help your cutting job to look as good as possible.

My only complaint is that the replacement foam insets are so darn expensive. ($60)

As I stated in another review of the same product (different color) you cannot beat the cost/value if you really think through what you might spend on lesser products. This is wise investment that will last for years. While I would not recommend this for long term storage, for transport, you won't find anything more durable. If you've invested in quality optics and a quality firearm, why would you skimp on the one thing that will protect it?

Great product for shooters. Well worth the money. You figure a $1000.00 dollar weapon, $1200.00 optic and $500.00 dollars worth of assesory for that rifle. The cost to protect that equipment- priceless. Mind you, I mean when your weapon is not in the safe. Going to the range, I toss this bad boy in the back of Jeep. I know my high dollar gear is safe from my abuse.
