And for $10 you get functioning hood latches. Make no mistake though, they are still cheap replacements made in the Glorious Peoples Republic of China...
Metal is thinner than OEM but the finish looks okay. The bolts/nuts/washers that are supplied are cheep pot steel. (1/4"-20 x 3/4" stainless steel machine screws/nuts/washers from your hardware store fixes that issue). Spring tension is a little less than OEM but perfectly fine for daily driving.

Bottom Line:
If you just need some hood latches that are cheep and work, or need to get by until the "big restoration", these are perfect. If you need something rugged for off-roading, look elsewhere.

I bought these to replace the stock hood latches on my 95 Wrangler that I just bought. These look much better then the old ones. The screws are not black like the stock ones but I think it makes it look even better.

side note:
One of the stock ones was sooooo hard to get off because of the rust. I had tried grinding the bolt off from under the fender, grinding from the top, I had to drill the screw bolt and that still took forever.

Replacing my old hardware with these. Look nice, feel sturdy. My only complaint was they should have included lock washers. used a dab of locktite and good to go. They are not as strong as OEM, but they get the job done

First off, like others have said, it doesn't come with black bolts, instead it comes with silver. For a few cents you could go down to home depot to get matching black hardware, not an issue.

The item fits perfectly, and holds the hood down very tightly.
I would recommend these, but if you want a long term item, you should look for something made out of stainless steel.

Wow... The hood latches don't line up with the peice that goes on the hood... These are black, but they're so cheaply made that the spring part of the latch which is black is rubbing off already... And the hardware is chrome not black...
