Timer, Digitial "Precision"

I have been using these little timers all over my house for more than ten years.
They are simple to use (unlike double and triple timers), count down as much as 20 hours
(I use one as my alarm clock! It's so nice to waken to a gentle "beep, beep, beep" rather
than being jolted awake by buzzers or bells!) I also can clip one onto my blouse as I go
about the house when I have something cooking. Finally, I take medicine several times a day
so I leave one timer on my dresser and set it to go off when medication is due. After I take
the medication I just reset for the next dose. One AAA battery keeps it running for over a
year (depending on the battery's strength). Just be careful NOT TO PRESS THE DIGITAL TIME
DISPLAY SQUARE!! I've lost a few of these timers when family members or employees have
tried to set them and did not know you should be pressing the rubber buttons and were trying to
set the timers by pressing on the glass display! It ruins the display if you press on the glass, as it does on many kinds of digital display items.
All in all I can't praise these little timers enough, as I said. You will love them if simplicity of operation and multi-uses are required. They are inexpensive enough to have several around
the house.

I take a medication and set one of the timers for 4 hours and the other one for 8 hours and it solved my problem of forgetting a medication. You can even use this timer for an alarm clock. You just click on how many hours or how many minutes. You can set it for an hour and 11 minutes if you like with hardly thinking about it.

I have ordered some timers that I had to take out the batteries to reset it. And after poor performance I tossed it in the trash.

This one is simple to use and works like a charm.

Note that it dings 10 minutes before the alarm and again at 5 minutes. When the alarm sounds it goes for a bit and will stop. I have had timers that would not stop. SCREAM!

I bought this timer in my supermarket when a previous timer suddenly died. The directions are only printed inside the box, so it is unclear what it is capable of doing. I use a timer for cooking, physical therapy, and napping. Unlike most such timers it displays hours and minutes, but not seconds. It will function as a stopwatch and count seconds but that function only counts up so you must view it all the time. This was useless for some of my balance exercises where I need to close my eyes. If you set it for 15 minutes it not only beeps at 15 minutes but more briefly at 10 and 5 minutes, annoying if you are trying to nap. That is not mentioned anywhere in the brief directions.
Aside from these drawbacks, it was functional.

This is a count-down timer you can set for hours and minutes, and a count-up timer that starts in seconds and rolls over into minutes/hours. It worked right out of the package, has an easel back so you can stand it on a counter in addition to the strong magnet for attaching to fridge, etc. This mechanism also doubles as a "clip" where you could put notes etc. This has the weakest alarm I've ever seen in a timer and can barely be heard across the kitchen much less in the next room. It arrived on time in good packaging.

I should have known something was wrong when the package said use one AAA battery and the timer takes two AAA batteries. It only has hours and minutes on the timer, no seconds. It only counts up, not down. Worthless for a kitchen timer. Don't buy it.

This timer has only hours and minutes. The numbers are very small, and the "beep" isn't very loud. I got it to replace another Good Cook digital timer that died after many years. I wound up buying another timer, because this one just didn't have much going for it.

This is a fantastic timer because it is super simple and easy to use. My husband uses this timer to set for 2 minutes to wake him up in case he falls asleep during a task. I have used his timer for years for my baking and cooking. We have bought many of these timers to have around the house because they are so handy and easy and durable. My husband will fall asleep and drop the timer on cement patio and floors around the house-- the timers don't break. (He has narcolepsy)

I bought one of these several years ago at Safeway, and it's a great little inexpensive timer. Long battery life, 5- and 10-minute countdown beeps, clip, and magnet.

I came here looking for one to keep at my mom's (I bake more than she does so I need something more precise - yet more flexible - than her wind-up chubby chef timer). Out of curiosity I filtered digital timers for "Prime" and "4 stars and up" and I found that this humble little timer is way less expensive than similar options that do NOT include countdown beeps.

I use mine constantly for not only baking and cooking but also for timing laundry cycles (you apartment dwellers will know what I mean). After much use and abuse it's still ticking. I think I'll order 2 now...one for my mom and a spare for me.
