This may seem strange but I'm returning This Mobile Edge Komen Eco-Friendly Tote Black with Pink Trim and at the same time awarding a 5 star rating. Consider this rating for both the Tote and Amazon. 1st the Mobile Edge Komen Tote, it looks to be extremely well made, well designed and a remark from my wife the person I purchased it for "near perfect and attractive". The problem my wife has a small frame and felt the bag was to big for her. Quite frankly if it did not have pink trim I would have kept it for myself to replace a $270.00 bag I use and will leave unnamed. Now in reference to the way Amazon handled the return of an item that I should have considered the size before purchases. It was without doubt the easiest most user friendly system I have ever encountered, I'm 65 years old so I have been around this block more then a few times. Mobile Edge you make a great product and thank you Amazon.

It looked wonderful at first, pretty big too and i was able to fit my laptop comfortably with my notebook and my book. the thing i hate the most is the the BAG is that it weights a TON just on its own, so adding to the weight of my laptop, book and notebook, this bag is not ideal to be lugging around at school. i weighted my bag the other day and it weights about 8 lbs on its own. adding my laptop and book it jumps to about 20 lbs. the straps are not big enough to properly carry over shoulder without straining your back.

I would definitely not buy again. wish i could just return it.

I bought this bag largely because the reviews were glowing, but have been disappointed. I'm a teacher and I've gone through several bags in 2 years because I carry heavy computers and papers every day, and walk a fair amount. I was looking for a computer bag that had extra room, pockets, and wouldn't fall apart. I would say this bag is sturdy and unlikely to fall apart. However, the bag itself is extremely heavy, so when I walk with it, it tends to hurt my shoulder and neck quite a bit. I've had it for 3 months and have already replaced it because it's just too uncomfortable to walk with. However, if you don't need to walk very much or carry as many papers and books as I do, it is a great computer bag. The padding for the computer and the pockets around it make it an excellent computer bag that also has space for other things. I do love all those features, but the bag itself is just too heavy for me.

Pros:
- Inside, the computer fits between two padded walls, so the computer is protected without a case, AND there is room to fit papers and books on either side of it.
- The outside pockets have all the benefits of a backpack without looking like a backpack - small compartments for pens, calculators, and whatever else you need to carry
- Water bottle pocket on side is convenient.

Cons:
- It's just too heavy for me - my neck and shoulder ache after carrying it even for a short time. Despite all the pros, I just can't use it regularly.

I purchased this bag for work as a Physician Assistant. I was very impressed with this bag when I first received it. To be honest, I'm a few years away from having a child, but the first thing I thought of when I saw this bag was "this would make an awesome baby bag in the future". The bag material is good quality, lots of pockets and secret pockets as well (there is a secret water bottle holder that comes out of the side of the bag if needed), a removable laptop area which fits my laptop (screen dimension 17") and is still able to hold files or additional work material with the laptop in the bag. This bag is larger than I thought, but I LOVE IT! Also... It has a LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY that I didn't know about until I received it, which is great! Since the bag is kind of big, I would recommend it to someone that is going to bring it to work or a meeting and have a place to put it down for most of the day. I'm not sure how great it would be to carry something this large all day... just a thought.

I ordered this bag a couple weeks ago for work to replace an old back pack. I wanted something that looks professional and also holds all of my work equipment and this definitely fits the bill. I am able to fit a large laptop with charger, a scale, a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, wifi card with cord, and several notebooks and pens. Everything has a place and is easily accessible. Yes, the bag is heavy with all of it, but that's kind of common sense. It gets me from point A to point B without a problem and seems to be durable enough to last. Because I have the front pockets stuffed with equipment, the bag will tip forward, which is kind of annoying, but not a big deal.

This item was exactly what I was looking for: large, spacious, and safe for my laptop. I use it for school. The front two pockets are quite large, and hold things like my wallet, keys, etc. The only problem with them is that it can sometimes be difficult to find things that sink to the bottom because the pockets go so deep. However, one pocket has a small pouch inside as well as holders for pens/pencils. I put my keys there, so those I never have to search for.
My laptop is a 13-inch MacBook, so I can't say if it really fits a 17-inch Mac or 16-inch PC. However, my laptop is perfectly protected within this bag. It also fits my 5-subject notebook and one or two textbooks along with my laptop. My biggest complaint is that the bag gets quite heavy, but that is to be expected. Other than that, this bag is perfect, and exactly what I was looking for! I definitely recommend it!
