I've used the Peavey Escort for the last 4-5 years and it works quite well for smaller gigs and practice sessions, indoors and outdoors. This will not, however, deliver enough punch to cut through the noise of a crowded bar - if that's your venue, then consider something else!

I did have a problem with feedback (even with the EQ adjustments) with certain instruments but this was eliminated by using a pre-amp. The microphone was a pleasant surprise - I expected that it would be cheap but it really delivers and is definitely a keeper.

Overall, this is a top quality item for its size: durable, extremely portable and sets up easily. Though the stands for the mains are included, they are kinda flimsy and only set up to about 5 ft. to the top of the mains. The great thing is that the mains can attached to both the smaller sized stands that come with it as well as the larger standard size should you want to go that route.

Well, this sound system is simply perfect, it has a really high sound quality, the included microphone is really good, the speakers sound great, it takes less than 10 minutes to have it ready for the show. I'm really happy with it, I use it to play in weddings or restaurants. It's a trully good choice!!

I purchased this to have on hand for band rehearsals, private parties, solo gigs and occasional corporate events for work. I used the system to provide music for a corporate dinner party in a fairly large ballroom holding more than 100 people and with very high ceilings. I could not believe how this system filled the room with high quality sound. I thought for sure they would sound thin, but plenty of low end could be heard across the room. Even in that large room I wasn't pushing the system more than about one third for background music and there was plenty of room left to turn up for dancing. I still did not have to max the system.

There are very usable/musical EQ options (channel and master) and very decent reverb. The included mic is also very good quality and has the convenience of an on off switch. I purchased the dedicated mixer stand and am glad I did. It works very well and, if you are patient, it will fit inside the case along with the included speaker stands.

Another benefit is that the included speaker stands are usable, though somewhat short and not terribly sturdy, but the speakers also have sockets for the larger professional grade stands from On Stage and Ultimate Support etc. So if you need the speakers to be placed higher than the included stands or just want something more substantial, you can do that too as I did for this particular party.

I could not be much happier especially given the very reasonable cost and I have the confidence in a brand that is known for durability and reliability.

I LOVE the fact that the unit is actually a carrying case with wheels! GREAT SOUND! I use it for a Zumba class in a big church and the music can be heard outside the building... and the volume is only 3/4 of the way up!

The only thing is that certain songs create a problem with the bass that cause the system to suddenly shut down. To solve this, simply reduce the bass. You get a fair warning before it happens. A red light that should normally pulse with the music stays lit. When that happens, you needs to adjust the settings to get the light pulsing again.

Anyway - GREAT SOUND, GREAT SYSTEM. The stands that come with the system are a bit unstable but the mic that comes with the unit is very good!

Worked as advertised. Good sound. The only concern is the legs for the speakers. Due to how short they are, unless put on tables, they are worthless. I also have concern about how fragile they appear. Time will tell.
