To the right is the Ben Franklin Bridge, a suspension bridge connecting Philadelphia and Camden, New Jersey. Philadelphia was first founded in 1682 by William Penn, an English Quaker. The city grew rapidly, becoming the second-largest English-speaking city in the world just prior to the American Revolution.
