This pad is a very thin quilt that doesn't have the padding that a normal bed quilt would have. I haven't used it except once when I wasn't home to lay across the carpet for my granddaughter to play on. I could have bought a quilt with some padding for the same or less money. Didn't work for me I think if you have a carpet area it would work fine. I bought two packs of foam mats at Sam's for $22 a piece you get 16 mats you'll need nine for your play yard to set on or 12 with the extension. WORKS GREAT!!

If you have soft flooring and want to use this, it will work but then again, you can use a regular flat sheet or comforter for the fraction of the price. This product is not worth it at this price. If you have hard floor like me and want to find something with padding for the playpen, then this product is not what you're looking for. You should just get a foam mat, which I should have done. The description said this product weigh 10 lb so I expect it to have more padding but it does not. It is merely a piece of thin cloth weighing 5 lb at most. Marquee solution should have made a product in this shape and size using foam mat instead. A foam mat in this shape and price is worth it but not this thin flimsy cloth.
