I don't understand where the first few reviews are comming from because I have had a GREAT experience with my set. They have held up fine and have taken quite the beating ( I snowboard and jog with these). As far as them fitting too tight? I'd acctually say its the opposite. I have a hard time getting them TIGHT enough (without a hat). The previous reviewer must have a HUGE head as I wear a size 8 in hat size and wear them as small as they can go. Sound quailty is great, esp. when you consider the price. I recomend these :) and hope this review helps.

When I first got these as my Christmas present from a friend, I was very happy and satisfied with the sound for the time being. The bass is great. The volume is great and best of all, these headphones look good. Highs and mids are definitely mediocre at this price range. My $10 Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds have greater noise cancellation and sound quality than the Hesh. For $50, most of it is going to the style, brand and the fact that it's a headphone and not earphones. The fit is uncomfortable with prolonged use and squeezes your ears causing them to be in pain. The headphone leaks sound pretty badly. After half a year of non-continuous use, I put these on and the part that extends snapped. I tried to fix it with Krazy glue and it manage to snap the wiring as well. I am only writing this review because I am in anger after going out to buy the Krazy Glue in hopes of having my Hesh fixed, then having my Hesh break even more on me. Compare to my Beats By Dr. Dre Studios headphones, these are complete garbage (Then again, my Beats headphones are $300). The glossy plastic screams cheap although you can generally ignore it when your headphones are still intact because of the cool styling. In my personal opinion, I think you will feel incredibly disappointed after your Skullcandy Hesh breaks. Do yourself a favor and just get yourself some $10 Skullcandy Ink'd earphones or something else thats worth the price. Hope this helped you guys.

After hearing good things about these headphones from friends and reading great reviews online, I decided to buy a pair and check them out. Big mistake. Within a week of wear and tear, they broke! While the sound quality produced through these headphones is somewhat above average, it's the construction of these that is VERY poor due to the cheap material (cheap plastic in particular) that they are made of. For the price you pay for them, these should be constructed of much higher quality materials. Don't get me wrong, they are great headphones, but within a week to a month of usage, they will break. Guaranteed.
