Having 2 rescue Chihuahuas I am always looking for help with dental care. I bought this tool hoping to be able to extend the time between professional dental cleanings. This, along with a vet approved toothpaste and brush, and an oral plaque remover has helped save me a lot of money and stress. The tool is bluntly sharp so great care must be taken while using this tool, I personally took this tool to our vet to have her show me how to use this, but what I liked most about this tool compared to the others on the market is that it is a single ended instrument. If you have small dogs that are not fond of getting their teeth cleaned in the first place, you simply do not need double sided sharp ends to deal with. The tool held easily in the hand, was small enough to fit comfortably in our dogs mouth, and was sturdy enough to use without fear of it falling apart.
