My 10 year old son has all the Ratchet and Clank games and has been waiting for products for years. They appear to be made well and have a lot of moving parts, but might not hold up to really rough playing. The Clank can be attached to the back of Ratchet too. My son loves computers and Legos, and usually doesn't play with action figures of any kind, but he's done some playing with these, and I notice he moves them around the house so they're in the same room with him. He thinks they're 'super-cool'. The price is high for what you get if these were normal action figures, but since you can't find any products for this line of games, it was well worth the price to us.

Well, I don't have any other figures to compare it to, but all I really wanted was to display this one on a shelf. As far as that goes, it looks great. The figure has no knees, which makes it a little odd to position, and Ratchet's gloves hinder most of the elbow movement, but it has transformed from pixels to plastic rather well. There is a hexagonal hole in the bottom of one of the feet, which makes you think there might have been some sort of a stand planned, but there isn't one in the box.

One thing you notice right away about this figure is the excellent sculpt. DC did a great job in making these figures look as accurate to the game's heroes as possible. From Ratchet's pointed ears to Clank's three digit, metallic hands, the attention to detail is amazing. Even his accessories, the Combuster Pistol and Omni-Wrench are perfectly rendered.

Articulation wise the figures are decent, though the Ratchet figure suffers a bit from not having knee joints.

Clank has only a few points of articulation, but he can also transform and be placed onto Ratchet's back, which is a neat touch.

Overall, these are great figures and if you're a fan of the R&C series, you should definitely pick them up.
