I've had this trimmer for about two weeks now and used it quite a bit. No problems so far, and when I cut thinner paper with punched edges I start from the middle on out to avoid ripping the delicate edges. The knife is still sharp and cuts easy, and the trimmer feels solid for the size. Pleased with it, hopefully it'll be easy to purchase replacement blades.

Update, 4-28-11:
I've had to severely downgrade my rating based on the terrible replacement blades: they shred the paper rather than cutting it, the posts don't fit into the opening without force, and last night the blade protector slipped off while I was trying to get the ill fitting replacement blade out again and deeply cut the side of my index finger. None of the thus far six replacement blades have worked smoothly as did the original one. I bought the replacement blades at Michaels, and the package says "for the paper trimmer".

Since I'll be looking for a new trimmer I have to say this one is a waste of money based on its short life.

Yes, I was really looking forward to getting this paper trimmer, as it had an "arm" that would help you cut paper multiple times at the same cutting line. But when I went to cut it, all my cuts were Crooked!! I thought it was me; I thought it was the paper. But no - - it was the cutter. I didn't use it right away, so it was too late to send it back. Ugh. What can you do with a crooked paper trimmer?

Our family had a very large paper crafting project where we extensively used a paper trimmer. We have tried three different kinds (including Fiskars). This one is by far our favorite. It cuts smoothly with clean edges. The measurements are very easy to read. The blades last a very long time as well. We highly recommend this product.

Thts is the trimmer I should have bought long ago. The other trimmer I use to use was just a waste of money . Wish I had seen this before. It would have saved me alot of mistakes. Every thing about the trimmer is very precise and has so much to offer as far as making well made crafts.

When I first got this paper trimmer I was so pleased with how it cut. I had successfully and happily used it until the blade needed to be replaced and now it drags and rips the paper - I have tried all my replacement blades with the same outcome. So, its great when its new and doesn't need the blade replaced; then it might as well be thrown out.

I generally like the quality of Martha Stewart products but am disappointed in this one. The blade does not stay put in the blade holder. The instructions tell you to make sure it snaps in, but it doesn't. Poor engineering! This product is being returned.

Simple compact design and a very sharp blade. Measurements are clear and precise. It's worth it to spend a few bucks more to get Martha Stewart products because you can be sure you're getting top of the line.
