After trying this spotting scope I returned it to Barska in exchange for a smaller one. Really didn't give it much of a chance. It is so powerful that I didn't have a tripod steady enough for it. My use is in the loft of my barn for spotting and identifying mature or cull deer before shooting them. At it's lowest setting it was hard to focus without it wiggling, even on a full sized, but cheap tripod. Since the longest distance I can see is 600 yards, it was overkill. With a professional heavy duty tripod it probably would work fine, but that would cost more than the scope. I exchanged it for an identical looking 20-60x60.
The fact that it is actually drop shipped from Barska, at first was a disappointment. Figuring I'd pay hell to exchange it. But it turned out to be a good thing. Jessica, at Barska is a real pleasure to work with. She speaks clear American English, knows her products, and handled the exchange efficiently. I will buy their products in the future because I know they really do offer a no hassle return or exchange.

I have tried Barska for several other optics needs and was never 'really' happy, BUT this time they nailed it! Having read several other reviews I can only state that I got a good one! Focus is crisp right into the X90 range, only needs minor adjustments from X30 to X90. Feels solidly made too. Carry bag provides protection as well as lens covers front and rear. The "sunshade" is a nice touch and the 90mm objective lens really pulls in light! I am very pleased so far, now to see how well it resolves a 1/4" hole at 500 yards..... The real challenge!

Recommend a solid tripod for this one as it IS heavy. I am using a Ravelli AVT Pro and it handles it no problem. My lighter weight TPod tips with this scope, so testing is in order. Be ready to catch it because it WILL fall LENS first! Enjoy it!

Very large, but light. Eye relief is not very good, but the glass is clear. I tried mounting this on a bar that clamped to a bench
but it was too big, needs a decent tripod.
