These were a Christmas gift for my wife and her cold feet - she loves them and they fit perfect.
They fit just perfect and he is very
happy with them.
Was concerned about the fit as I'd seen that to be a problem with many who have bought different styles of booties.

I LOVE these booties (and the Baffin Unisex Cush Insulated Slippers). I got the Cush slippers last year in November and just ordered these as the soles to the Cush slippers are just starting to wear thin (although there's still a few months of life left for sure, the new ones are more to augment the old ones).

They are similar to the Cush but are a taller, more adjustable, warmer and with a much thicker sole (this is good and bad. Not quite as comfy in the house but much better insulation from the cold ground). Both are ubber comfy and very warm. If you're going to be using them in a house that is fully/mostly carpeted I would recommend the Cush slippers, if you're going to want light use outside or for camping, or on all hardwood or other hard and colder flooring surface I would recommend the base camp booties.

By the time the Cush are completely worn out they would have given me a over a year of use in a house with a mix of (some) hard wood and (mostly) carpet plus many trips out to the car and around the corner to the mailbox. The exterior sole material on the base camp booties is the same as the cush from what I can tell, but there's an additional layer of firmer insulation in the sole of the base camp booties. I expect these booties to last a good 18-24 months. That may not seem like a long time but it's worth it - less toughness, more comfort.

I used Kiwi Camp Dry, Heavy Duty Water Repellent on the Cush slippers and that did a great job of waterproofing them.

I own the Baffin Cush slippers for over a year now and it no longer warms my feet. I ordered these boots as an upgrade and hoping for high marks. Unfortunately this is not the case.

I agree with other reviewer's comments about the soles. The grip they designed for the soles are the words Polar Proven written in a grey rubber. The picture shows a portion of it. These rubbed off the moment I started walking around on our hard wood floors. I have the laminate type floors if it makes a difference but just after a few days of use, 80% of all the grip was gone and I can make out a pattern of my foot. Not fun cleaning up the tiny rubber specs.

After the grip wears off in 3 days the sole becomes very slippery, I wish I had a bigger kitchen, I can use these to act like I'm skating. Once the grip is gone, these are excellent for practicing your moonwalks. I've got pretty good at it.

After a week of use, I was putting on the left one by holding the cuff with one hand like normal, I put in my foot in and rip! the top nylon cuff that holds the drawstring rips off halfway as if it wasn't sewn good. The cuff on right boot was solid.

The bootie does get high marks for warmth as expected for a full insulated bootie. But with the large rip defect and no grip, back they go.

Thanks to Amazon's fantastic return policy, I packed it up, UPS picked it up and I'm on Amazon looking at other brands now. Moonwalking skill increased take note.

I completely agree with this assessment from another reviewer: "...after only 2 days of walking on carpets and tile flooring much of the wording has worn off and now the booties are actually a hazard because they slip and slide." I

I actually have good balance, but still find these booties to be dangerous. Another minor complaint is that the wording peels off in hundreds of millimeter sized bits, and this mess spreads throughout all of the non-carpeted areas of the house. (We have pergo.) However, my biggest complaint is definitely how slippery these have gotten.

I'm sending them back.

Can't walk but I know my feet are warm! These things are great I have two pair and use them for hunting. My feet are toasty warm in these I know because when I touch my feet they are warm. I am paralyzed from the waste down and use them only for hunting and they keep me warm!

I have insanely cold feet. Every year I search for the next big thing that is going to finally solve my perpetual cold foot problem. I ordered these boots in January of 2012 and I love them. I'm considering buying another pair, not because my first have worn out, but just to have another pair for when these are being washed.

They are quite warm and sturdy enough to wear outside to take the kids to the bus stop or take the kids out to play in cooler weather. They are comfortable enough to wear in the house, and I've even slept in them a few times when my feet were too cold to allow me to fall asleep.

This pair has held up great in almost a year of use. The soles are not worn at all, even with wearing them outside occasionally. They wash up fine in the washing machine. They keep my feet nice and warm even when I'm in my basement pottery studio which is always a little chilly.

As far as size, I wear a women's 9.5 and ordered a large pair of these. They fit fine. I think a medium would have been too small.

All in all, 5 stars and I just might buy an extra pair!
