I am giving four stars because only two screws are included in the package.

This is a set of three door strike plates (i.e., The catch bars mounted to the door frame on which a storm door spring latch hooks.). These plates are distributed by Prime-Line Products in Redlands, California (prime-line-products dot com) and listed as model number K-5148. The plates are manufactured in China and are zinc die cast. They are glossy silver in color. The package contains two 3/4" wood screws and three strike plates that are 2 1/4" in length and 7/16" in width. There are no shims in the package. Even though the three plates are the same length and width, each one varies in height (i.e., the distance the catch bar extends out from the door frame). The three heights are 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2". The strike plates are well made with fairly thick metal and sturdy construction (as compared to the old thin metal plates that I replaced). They are designed with 1/2" long slotted screw holes that are angled so screw placement can be varied to some extent. These seem to be good quality strike plates, but I am giving just four stars because only two screws are included. With three plates, you would think the manufacturer would include at least four, if not six, screws in the package.

Why don't hardware stores stock these?

For some reason hardware stores do not carry these. Only those strike plates with the spring loaded bars, which don't work for the storm door I have. Easy to install.
