Great food these are larger pellet sink fast- I feed large South American cichlids -green terror, black belts, flower horn jag, RTM, geophagus and many more unique Central American these would be too big for small Africans. But good quality and really good price. Does add color! Delivered the next day!!

All my fish love this food! I used to raise Cichlids and would buy this food for them. Turns out that all my fish love this stuff: Koi, Clown Loaches, Cory Catfish, Channel Catfish, Goldfish, Bicher, Gurami. I no longer have Cichlids but I still buy this food for the rest of my fish. I mix it in with their regular food, but they go after this stuff first.

This was a wonderful purchase. Buying these in bulk saves so much in money in the long run. The quality of the Hikari is the same as the smaller retail packages. It is packaged as pictured. And, what I have received is always good on expiration dating.

If you know you will always buy fish food and will always buy the Hikari Gold, then buy it in bulk and save a lot of money. My fish love this stuff. It comes vacuum sealed in the commercial bulk packaging as pictured and labeled the same. Commercial volume is the way to go. No need to keep paying for small packages.

I definitely recommend this product. 2.2 pounds comes to 34 ounces. They are also sinking pellets which are tougher to find in the retail stores.

I am very happy with my purchase. My fish love Hikari Gold pellets. I am glad I was able to find these on Amazon. They were priced very good. If you have Amazon Prime, the 2-day Free shipping is very nice.

I’m a small cichlid breeder (Labs, Haps and Blueberries) and they like these slow sinking pellets. Parrot cichlids also like them These and Cichlid Crisps are my favorites to help keep the water clear. Consider adding marine food occasionally as a color enhancer.

I have single 8 Or 9 inch Tiger Oscar, he doesn't seem to like the food as much as the floating hikari or top fin brands. This tends to create more biowaste than normal. I have a 60 gallon tank with an aquaclear 110 and a filstar xp xl for filtration.
