I had two of these bolt heads snap as they were being tightened despite using a good torque-wrench, and staying well under their maximum torque range. I am assuming I received a bad batch. Ended up using the original water pump bolts after cleaning them up somewhat. The difference between the two bolts was clear! As I tightened the new bolts I could feel them flexing as I was tightening them. I did not notice that with the existing bolts when I reused them.

Once you realize the bolts go thru water jackets on the V6 1998 Dakota you'll wish you had gotten these with the sealer on them. Make sure you run a thread chaser thru the bolt holes before you use these.

Worked and fit perfect. I bought these for a restore project and wanted to use new bolts rather than clean up the old ones. They fit perfect and look nice. The only thing that would have made them better is if they would have been made in the USA instead of China.
