I've been meaning to mount my snowboards on the wall for years, but never got around to it. Picked these up for a great price on Amazon and got them in a few days.

You can either mount the boards diagonally or vertically on the wall. I chose to mount them vertically. All you need is a power drill, a level, tape measure and a pencil as it comes with all the screws required. Install was total about 20 minutes with the help of a friend. Mounted two boards side by side on a sheet rock wall, didn't drill into any of the studs either (instructions say its recommended but not necessary).

Once secured, the mounts feel very sturdy. They hold the boards great, they are not eye sores when the boards are off the wall and actually match my molding perfectly. Looking at how the boards lie, after multiple times taking off and replacing the boards I can foresee some mild scuffing on the wall, but it is all covered by the boards. Great product, definitely recommended!

not quite sure how, but these nearly invisible mounts hold my burton nug securely to the wall while requiring almost no effort to engage or disengage board. definitely recommend. board looks cool on the wall and i've reclaimed that corner of the garage where she used to live.

These are great. Easy to put up and secure enough. My son wanted to mount his snowboard to the wall of his bedroom. this took no more than 5 minutes, holds the board nearly flat against the wall and looks really good. I ended up buying my other son a set and when our friends saw them they bought 3.

I had an awesome plan to fill a small piece of my wall between a window and a perpendicular wall with one of my boards hung diagonally-- and these hangers, with a swiveling contact area, allow for a wide range of position. But, you have to be careful if you want to hang the board this way and not set it up so that the hangers are too close to the center of gravity of the board. You need a bit of torque on the hangers so that they hold the board firmly. I set them up so that the bottom hanger was very close to the balance point of the board, that ended up not putting much force against the top hanger resulting in a loose hold against the relatively hard rubber of the mating surface. In short, the board slowly creeped down! It was never going to fall out; after it slid a certain distance it was out of balance enough to hold firmly. This was really only a couple of inches and if I'd had a bigger space, it wouldn't have made any difference at all, but with my limited space, that's the difference between sliding across the plane of the window or, if set along the opposite diagonal, into the adjacent wall. Neither hurt anything but the aesthetics and, again, it was my fault for not thinking things through all the way and setting the hangers almost exactly in the center of where I wanted the board hanging. Off set it a bit and you'll be fine.

If you *are* having a problem with your board creeping like I am, you can try this-- I cut a narrow strip of bike inner tube (about half an inch) and place it between the board and the hanger. The softer rubber and smaller contact area made a firmer hold. Again, if I'd done things correctly, this wouldn't have been necessary.

Turning your snowboard into wall art is great, better than that you now have closet space.

The instruction sheet says to use the drywalls screws even if you are putting it into a stud. That is terrible advice and it won't work out. I hope they correct those instructions, you are in for a boatload of frustration if you try to use the drywall screws in that situation.

It's easy to take the board on and off the wall, and your bindings can stay on the board no problem if you don't mind a little 3D wall art ;)
