Love this stuff. Soak my bore and BCG in it for 15 minutes. Come back and wipe all the carbon down - it becomes a soft paste. The bolt sometimes needs 2 or 3 treatments,if I don't scrape off the build up by the gas rings, no biggie. Doesn't eat up plastics or discolor different finishes (no effect on latex gloves). The only gripe with this stuff is the price. $3 a pop would be fair, IMO.

This really works. You can see the color on the patch afterwards so you know it's removing all
of that copper. I take a bell shaped ear plug and insert it in the chamber of the gun then squirt the
foaming cleaner from the muzzle end. Let is stand for an hour then run a clean patch through. I usually
do this first while cleaning and lubricating the rest of the pistol. Then finish with the patches through the
bore. Then oil with Mil-Com 2500

Just received my product, and after peeling back the label to read the detailed instructions they say:

"NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GAS-OPERATED-AUTOMATICS (semi's)..."
This discovery can only be made after peeling back the instruction label on the can.
OK for RECOIL-op-semi's but:
"NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GAS OPERATED AUTOMATICS."

That includes Ruger Mini-14's, (Carbines, I'm not sure?), all AR-15 & 16 platforms, and many other GAS-OPERATED rifles, shotguns, and pistols.....

Potential BUYERS BEWARE.....
I haven't decided to go ahead and try it on a non-gas firearm, or just pitch-it....

Do not clean well. I still have to use WD-40 after that to remove all gunk after target rounds.
Maybe Ok for expensive clean burning ammo, but in general - do not match expectations.
