This is a life-saver right here!
I don't think I will ever be without this product in my house.... I have an IBD cat who even though he is ok now (knock on wood), he still has flares once in a blue moon.
I also feed a raw diet and from time to time when I introduce new meats I have stomach upsets in the house – NOTHING works like Diagel.
Yes, one might go to the vet and be prescribed Metronidazole…. I pull a Diagel from my cabinet and after that first dosage the issue is gone. Worst case scenario it takes a second dose 12 hours later.
I don’t think I will ever go back to metronidazole again – in fact, I know – I won’t.
Will Diagel cure IBD? No. What did for my cat was a raw diet – but if he has a flare, with the help of Diagel, it is gone immediately. I rely heavily on pet sitters and Diagel is right on the corner to be used if any trouble arises.
The syringe is long and it looks like it is a lot to give, but it is actually not too much. The consistency is of a gel, and even though they don’t like the taste, the syringe is well designed with a thin tip that is easy to administer. What I do is I aim the syringe tip on the roof of their mouths and release it quickly. They lick it off without an issue.
If you have a kitty with tummy issues, I highly recommend this product – it is not cheap, but worth its weight in gold!

Despite multiple vet visits and medications, my 15 year old cat had terrible diarrhea and had lost a lot of weight. He couldn't control himself while he slept or make it to the box. The vet and I decided that if he didn't improve he would be euthanized. She gave him a steroid shot in case it was IBS and I had this Diagel overnighted out of desperation. He didn't like the taste but most of it went down. The diarrhea improved 90% within hours of giving Diagel. It continued to improve but then it worsened again about 10 days later. I gave Diagel immediately and that was it for the diarrhea. Now my old boy is fat and happy again. I will always keep Diagel on hand now.

I don't believe the steroid was the fix because the IBS would have come back - I waited 4 months to write this to be sure.

My elderly cat just had a bout of antibiotics and all the usual side effects. This stuff worked at getting rid of those nasty side effects. Two doses may be required so you're better off buying two to start with.

This really helped my cats' chronic diarrhea after just one dose. I have purchased more to have on hand. I had been using another medicine from the vet for almost 2 weeks and it did nothing, then the vet prescribed digGel and it worked within hours. I'm glad I was able to get this on Amazon as my vet is quite far and it is very convenient ordering it online. The DiGel has an expiration of May 2019 which is the same as what I had gotten from the vet.

I had high hopes for this product. But it was completely ineffective. I called the company that produces the product and they said it is not formulated for cats with chronic diarrhea. So the description is misleading. If it had been effective the cost wouldn't matter but it seems like their product is overpriced.

My one year old cat had frequent runny stools for five days. The vet prescribed flagyl but I was wary of potential side effects. One syringe of diagel cleared it right up. I now keep a spare around just in case. This stuff works.
