I have been using Indian Clubs for about 3 year, and I have 2 sets of Clubs from another manufacturer. I purchased my first set of Revelution Clubs to increase the weight. Went I started using the Revelution Clubs I noticed a significant increase in the weight of the Clubs, so I weighed them. The Revelution Clubs weighed a few ounces over the stated weight on the Clubs, so I weighed the other brand Clubs. They weighed about half the stated weight. This may not be a big deal to many people, but it is to me. When I purchase a product I expect to receive what I paid for and not less. I was a quality manager/engineer for over twenty-eight years. I do understand the meaning of form, fit, function, and tolerances. And having purchased several sets of Revelution Clubs so does Purpleheart Armory (Revelution Clubs). Revelution Clubs are well balanced, and the craftsmanship is excellent. Their service is great too.

You get a DVD on how to correctly swing Indian Clubs which is top flight. The production values of this DVD are very good, but more importantly the techniques on properly swing Indian Clubs is excellent. Richard Maguire goes through the basic techniques step by step. After watching this DVD I had to correct my technique on swing the Clubs, and it made a substantial difference. The DVD that came with the other brand of Clubs is not as good. Until I watched Maguire's DVD I could not swing the clubs for more than 6 to 8 minutes without some shoulder pain. After using Maguire's techniques I am able to swing the clubs 25 minutes without any shoulder pain. I mention this only to emphasize the importance of using proper technique when swing Indian Clubs. The Maguire DVD is worth more than the other brand's Clubs. Plus you get an excellent set of Indian Clubs.Read more ›

This was my first experience with the clubs. A friend had recommended them to help with some shoulder issues I have been having. They are very good quality and very solid. They seem heavier than 2lbs. When I weighed them, one was 2 lbs and one was 1 lb 15 ounces. I think that is pretty good for all wood, hand turned items. The DVD helped get me started and was a good introduction to them. There is some history of Indian clubs that was interesting and good demonstrations of some of the basic techniques. I've been using them for a couple of months and have seen an improvement with my shoulders. I have significantly less pain in them, especially when I lie on my side, than I did before I started using the clubs. I would recommend them.

I have to say that these are not the cheapest Indian Clubs you could buy but they sure are some of the best you can buy. My Mrs. called them the prettiest bowling pins she had ever seen! I have been using these at least once a week since I have purchased them and they are as functional as they are well finished. These can clearly last a lifetime with minimal maintenance.

I bought these to assist with my shoulder mobility. Really, really like the movement, an excellent way to warm up the shoulder joint. These are not cheap, they look cool but to be honest, plastic would give very similar benefits for essentially half the cost. That being said, i have zero complaints with this purchase. Like a lot of functional training exercises, it is best to get professional help with these. The DVD and YouTube videos are not easy to copy, and you can easily either hit your head, or your ceiling if you dont do these correctly. Correct form is very beneficial and without a second set of trained eyes, it can be hard to learn. My favorite exercises only use one club at a time so there is another possible cost savings, buy one. What i didnt realize until my functional trainer showed me how is that my entire body shoulders, hips, torso should rotate 90 while doing the swings. I didnt get that point from the DVD.
