The built-in stitches come optimally set for length and width, but they can be elongated (stretched), mirror imaged (reversed), and edited for enhanced stitch variation.

For added convenience, the sewing machine provides 13 needle positions, a simple push-button control panel, six frequent-use buttons, a continuous-design sewing option, and automatic tension. Other highlights include temporary memory for saving up to 20 characters or patterns; twin-needle mode that warns against unsafe stitch settings when using a twin needle; a long-lasting LCD screen that shows stitch selection and settings, plus provides audible and visual warning messages; a StayBright long-lasting LED light that illuminates the working area; and a free arm with accessory storage. I was looking for a sewing machine for a while, and happened to come across this refurbished unit on Gold Box sale. Needless to say with any Gold Box deal, the price was more than decent. I took a chance and bought it. To my surprise, the unit that I received was like new. It could definitely pass as new. I couldn't find a single flaw in it. No blemish, all accessories, and full warranty. I immediately tried out many of the basic functions and stitches. They all work. I am very happy with this purchase, and the Gold Box price was hard to beat.

Purchased on Gold Box Deal. Works great. Found defect in screen (1/8 x 1/4 whiter area) does not effect sewing. Shows up in white box around default setting for stitch length. Not really a big deal for this deal!!! Did notice dog feet tend to pull material to left for some reason. I Need to hold material straight. Previous machine my dog feet were worn down to smooth, so it is a big improvement. Tried twin needles and found type(brand) of thread is a big deal. Some thread tended to tangle before needle. No problems with other stitches. Would definitely buy again!!!
