Rods are metal, finnials are plastic but you can't tell when they're on the wall. Couple things I wish I'd known: 3/4 inch diameter rod is pretty darn skinny, so if you want a more robust look, this won't give it. Also, the mounting brackets come out about 4 inches from the wall, which is a lot, I think. Other curtain rods in our house only come out about 2 inches from the wall. But I'm happy with this curtain rod for the cost, and it's exactly as promised.

The only reason I'm going for 4 rather than 5 stars is the cheesy plastic finials. The rods themselves are nice looking and solid though, and from a distance the finials look fine, at least so far.

Looks good. Yes, the end finials are cheapo plastic but I don't think anyone is going to climb on a step stool to investigate. I had to add the middle hook to support the 100" width. Definitely droopy without that.

I love this curtain rod. I was concerned that because my picture window is 90+ inches in width, the rod would bend in the middle. Not the case, this curtain rod is very sturdy! The stain nickel finish is beautiful!

This is a cheap product. I have other curtain rods I paid a similar price for and the finials are metal not painted plastic. There was at least one plastic piece missing that helps hold the rod extension in place. Also the hanging brackets are functional but not attractive.

This curtain rod is really nice and works well. As with any curtain rod, installation is a little tedious, measuring where to drill the holes and make sure everything is level, but the quality of the metal rod and brackets is really nice, not flimsy at all. My only complaint would be that the caps/ends/ornamental pieces at the end (whatever you call them) are made out of plastic. It still looks good and looks like the rest of the pieces, and you can't tell they're plastic unless you were really up close and/or touching them. That was the only thing about this product that disappointed me; I'd rather the whole thing be made out of metal. But, they were a good price and I think I'm probably the only person that would ever know the ends were plastic unless I told anyone. :)

I was very disappointed in these rods. I assumed coming from Levelor that they would be nice. They are CHEAP! The ends are very thin plastic and don't even match the rod. The rod is a nice shiny brushed nickel and the end caps are very light matte silver. Wish I could return, but we ordered them way before hanging due to buying a new house.

I really like the style of this curtain rod but they are small. By small i mean the rod and end cap are not thick and weighty. This gives it a little cheap look. They are well built and feel solid. I am using them in my basement and the size works great down there but I wouldn't use them in my main area do to that thin cheap look.
