Purchased 2 because there are not that many high pressure guns out there with as large of a needle assembly in the low price range. Larger diameter needles allow for thicker paint and can spray more materials quicker. As both guns came out of the box the pick-up tube was not positioned correctly, they were 90 degrees off. The siphon tube cannot be rotated without slighlty enlarging the paint cup holder to allow for rotation on an oval cross section of the pick-up tube assembly close to where it attaches to the gun. Once I made these small modifications the gun was ready to paint in a configuration consistant with typical spray guns. The painting performance is consistant and good, don't expect Devilbis or Binks quality but it generates acceptable atomization and has a fairily good pattern. I will keep this gun on my list of low cost throw away guns, but will continue to experiment with others provided they have at least a 2.0 needle valve.

I am painting the inside of a 2 1/2 car garage with an open cathedral ceiling. I tried to do it with a brush, but could not get any brush in the joints. I tried a Harbor Freight gun and got more paint on the floor then the ceiling. One of the reviewers mentioned the benefit of this gun because of it's 2.0 needle. Despite the negative reviews, I ordered this gun from Amazon. The only other choice was to buy a $300.00 house sprayer that I would never use again. I painted half the ceiling in one day and not one drop of paint got on the floor. Folks will have to be reminded, this is a $24.00 high pressure gun. A basic high pressure gun cost in the neighborhood of $200.00. I do not know how they make this gun so cheep. For those that had problems with this gun, it is a good idea to first take it completely apart and seal every nut with lock tight. I go completely through any tool that is not American made and I have always had to modify them, regardless of cost. I may order a second gun just for thick based paints. So far, it has lasted longer and worked better then the $130.00 Wagner, so I am satisfied with it.

The gun came with a hole in the cup and lots of sealer[?] in the gun. I fixed it, cleaned it and tried it on a hydraulic tank I repaired, not good. I tried adjusting every way possible, it never sprayed decent. I switched to my Sharpe touch up gun to finish. Yes I was hoping get a cheap gun to paint the whole backhoe with and got what I paid for. I have a bit of painting experience, cars, bikes, equipment and should have known better.

This paint gun works well and cleans great. I used it to paint my Garage it was great to use, cut the paint time by half. Would work well for painting a house or staining a deck as well would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a paint can.

The only thing I like about this gun is the color. It came with a wrench to take the spray head apart, but it did not fit. The gun is built so cheap that the threads for the spray head are very difficult to line up to re-install. The gun sprayed OK the first time I used it. The second time I used it, the air would not shut off when you let off the trigger. The third time I used it was today. Today the rubber gromlet on the needle valve that controls the air flow stuck and would not let air to flow through the gun. It is now in the trash can. I cannot believe Kawasaki allowed their name to be put on this gun. I'll go back to Harbor Freight for my cheap primer guns.

Bought this gun to paint the garage, did not work well at all. Description of the item said it would spray primer, not even close. Had to thin the primer out so much before the gun would start spraying. Because the mix was so thin I had to put multiple coats on. I finally broke down and went to the local hardware store and bought an airless sprayer.

years ago bought a very expensive HVLP suction gun that was terrible, assumed they were all that way and the paint had to be thin as water to spray. Wanted to spray some thick latex so took a chance (low risk with prime) and was I surprised, this thing works great, a lot of suction to pull up thick paint, and a large tip pushes a lot of material. not the fine atomization of an auto quality gun with thin paint, but for latex (doors molding) much better than a brush, and you actually use a lot less paint.
