These folders are great! We use them not just for 8 1/2 x 11 paper. We label them and use them to keep special information in them. The Velcro closes great! If anyone thinks they are just for 81/2 x 11 letter size paper, they can be used for a lot more. I'm happy they come in different colors. My husband keeps one in his brief case with important papers for work.

I ordered these 12 pack of Poly ENVELOPES, VELCRO closure and received 6 CLAMP Binders...not envelopes nor velcro closures... Returned and reordered. Now just received 12 CLAMP Binders (2 packs of 6 put in another plastic bag marked "Sold as Set".) The issue is that the plastic package is marked "Poly Envelope, Velcro, Letter 12 Pack of asst color (1720) product number 7-1188850027-6 and the ACTUAL items in the package are SIX CLAMP Binders product number 7-1188861920-7.

these are great envelopes, but unless I write directly on them, there is no good way to label what is inside each envelope. I wish there was a little outside pocket where you could slip in a label that could be changed as needed.

When I first started at my current employer we had a bunch of similar files that were closed on three sides and held a bunch of materials but they didn't have that large flap (like an envelope) which for me was a preferred design. But these work well.

I like the quality and color. I am sad that they are not letter size to fit in the file cabinet. I will keep them to use in other ways but I was disappoint that they are NOT letter size. They are about an inch too long.

I was disappointed that these poly envelopes have no expansion capabilities and are of a lesser quality than the competition, even though the price is comparable. Go with Smead or OfficeMax - same price, but much better quality.
