I bought this paint brush set just wanting a few basic brushes so I could paint some stars on my room's ceiling. I was lured in by the price, but got bit in the bum when I actually tried to use them. They are very poorly made and fall apart as you use them. The hairs fall out and the handle of the brush threatens to come out if any force is applied in the reverse direction. I'm sorry to say that these are not worth the space on Amazon.

The brushes aren't anything to write home about, but they did do the trick for the art project I was working on. I noticed that the brushes did lose some bristles, which got a little annoying. Otherwise, they've held up somewhat well and for the price I suppose you can't really complain.

The bristles fall out when you use them! Big thumbs down! It happened with all the brushes in the set too so it was very frustrating.

These got the job done on my child's project, BUT the brush lost so many hairs I'm surprised I still have something to paint with. These are ok. However, if you have the money, invest in better brushes. You will save time by not having to fish hairs out of your painting project.

Nice very inexpensive Prang Hobby paint brush set for using for crafts. For the price the brushes are really well made, have a nice spring in the bristles and a good range of brush types. My expensive sable brushes I use for my watercolors just wouldn't work for modpodge, lol. And since I not only do crafts I'm also doing some ceramic work and I'll use these brushes for that too. Every artist/hobbiest needs some 'good' but inexpensive brushes - these are great. ~~ deb

The brushes lost their bristles quickly, but they performed as I would expect for the price. If you just need brushes for a quick project, these are fine. If you want something that will last a long time and work well, you might want to consider higher quality brushes.

These are like the paint brushes you might pick up at a dollar store. The bristles are a so-so on some of the smaller brushes. Some of the bristles tend to be pointed in different directions, so don't plan on doing any highly detailed painting with the tiny brushes (which is actually what I needed this set for). What I did to help fix the smallest brushes in this pack was to take a pair of scissors and trim the bristles down some. This helped even them out and pinch them together a bit more for a tighter grouping. The large brushes are nice and full, with soft bristles. For a few bucks, this is a decent pack of brushes.
