The kennel gear bowl system is great. The mount attaches easily and is very secure, once the bowl is inserted in the mount there is no way the dog can get it out. When it's time to wash or fill the bowls they are really easy to release from the mount. The customer service is great too. I needed longer screws for my mount, because I mounted it to chain link, the folks at Kennel-Gear promptly mailed my longer thumb screws.

When ordering in the future I will order single not double bowls though. Because I mounted the bowls to chain link, when my dog eats the bowls wiggle and the water bowl spills a bit. If the bowl was mounted to a more stable surface such as a wall, welded wire or crate, I don't think this would be a problem.

The only down side of these bowls are the price, which is pretty high. That being said I do plan to order more in the future.

So far so good. Only time will tell how long this item withstands the 4-legged critters. It has been difficult to find an attachable bowl that will withstand jumping dogs.

My Boxer bent it down the first day he had it and snapped it in half in less then a month. not worth the high price if you have a powerful animal.
