I used this tool to extract many nails, screws and to pry small projects apart.
I snapped it in two trying to pry larger pieces of lumber.
Remember, it's cast and it's small. Don't overdo it.

I've owned mine for nearly 10 years, and paid twice what it costs now. I have pulled nails and screws from more wood than I can count. I've used it as a hammer in confined spaces. I've used it as a little pry bar a few times. I'm surprised other reviewers have had problems, since I don't baby my tools and have never had this tool fail me. Of all the tools I own, many quite specialized, this is one of my absolute favorites, a go-to when other tools don't deliver. I've also used this on commercial projects, not just my own house, so it's not some cheap DIY toy. When I need to pull a nail without hassle, I reach for my Exhumer. It works every time. I don't know many demo tools that last 10 years, but this one has and it looks practically new. The Exhumer is awesome.

The longer I use this, the more I appreciate the design. I've used this for a year now, on a big, ongoing project in an old house, pulling probably 300 nails in various awkward, tight spots. Both claw ends are shaped to get a good grip on the nail head, and to give good leverage.

This shines in tight spots. It's one thing to make a nail puller work in the lab. It's quite another to make one that just works in real old-construction settings. The square end directs hammer blows to the claw ends to get a bite on nails driven flush or even deeper into the board. Pivot points give good leverage.

Superb design.

I have had this thing for a couple months now, but have only used it on a couple jobs. It seems to be well built and like it is going to last a good long time. The only gripe I have is that the little skull & crossbones logo is GLUED on, and fell off in under a month, it does not affect the function of the tool but it still sucks. The built-in circular saw thing is pretty useful, I ended up using that thing alot more than I thought.

My Hubby Loved this Great Quality.
Update after having this for about 2 months Its still holding up nice and strong . Hubby uses it everyday at work and has reported no problems with it at all . It isnt even chipping off the peain that is on it . I would recommend well worth the money :)

Tool is burly and handy, in the sense that it feels right in the hand. Wail away on it to dig out most nails. However, it works poorly on small finishing nails. The V-shaped slots end too wide. For small brads and finishing nails, and even small staples, the Estwing puller works better.

Not gonna lie, this isnt the best nail puller, but this one works fine. Must have tool for a framer, especially if you make alot of mistakes =) it has a hex indent to remove saw blades so thats good. If you want quality, i recommend shark corp or estwing nail pullers
