These are really cool and shiny, and I wear them all the time. If this is your first pair of spurs be sure to order spur straps because these are not included. The sound of these spurs in pretty gross in my opinion. With the jingle-bobs on they sound like the guy that rings the bell in front of grocery stores. Without the jingle-bobs (which I removed immediately) the sound is pretty nice and cliche 'old west' sounding. You do have to decrease your stride rate to get the classic ching ching ching sound when you walk, otherwise it is just chinglchingchingchhinhnhlhiinhng. Oh and children will think you are some sort of cowboy, and point at you and nudge their friends, older people seem to just think you are insane.

Very nice spurs and jingle bobs. They are made for a smaller heel and fit very snug to my boots and can almost be held on without my straps. Keep that in mind if you are thinking about ordering these that they are narrow and fit a smaller heel.

I've spent two years looking for quality, affordable spurs for my son's cowboy costume.
These are perfect! He loves the "jingle". They're nice, sturdy metal and fit his boots nicely.
Don't waste your money on the cheesy plastic ones that will break in 5 minutes and end up in a landfill.
Get these. You won't be disappointed.

These are great heavy duty spurs for either horse riding or for a costume. Like other reviewers, I didn't like the crystal shaped objects but you can easily take them off so no harm done. Definitely recommend these.

These spurs are great. They are very sturdy, so I'm glad I bought these spur straps to hold them: The Colorado Saddlery Rawhide Reinforced Black Spur Straps. They jingle and jangle just like I was hoping for for Halloween. I would definitely recommend these along with the straps I bought.
