I fell in love with the Orgasm color with Nars' blush. Whenever I realized that they carried the love out to their nail polish line as well, I was so excited to try it. This is a very long lasting color! With use of a base coat and top coat, I was able to wear it for almost 2 weeks with minimal chipping. What did chip was most definitely related to my job, so anyone who doesn't work with their hands will see even longer wear! I'm working on 3+ weeks with it on my toes and it's still going strong! This beautiful color goes with everything. In some lights it's pinkish, other lights its closer to coral, but when the light hits that sparkle is just amazing! I'm a big fan of shimmers and microglitters and this seems to be the best of both.

Amazing color
Fast drying
Brush gives good coverage, easy to control

Cons:
This is a light color. It took 3 coats for me to feel I got the best color match out of it.

Purple Rain is a gorgeous royal purple with pink and blue microglitter. This beauty was nearly perfect in one coat, but I applied two because I missed a couple spots. The formula isn't overly thick and is an absolute dream to apply. My only complaint is that the square cap and fairly short brush makes application a little awkward, but it's not enough of an issue to make me knock off a star.

I live by Nars Orgasm blush so you could understand my excitement when I saw it was also available as a nail polish. I found the color to be very disappointing here though. I had a friend describe it as the color you'd wear to paint your Barbie doll's nails with as a child. Would not recommend.

Considering all the good reviews I was extremely disappointed in this product. It's one of the cheapest quality nail polishes I've ever used, chipping within hours of being put on (while I slept no less!) & lasting no more than 3 days total. By that time it was chipped halfway down each nail & looking like a 2 week old manicure. I'm pretty careful about my hands, wearing gloves while I do dishes etc. but that made no difference, it seemed every time I moved a new piece came off.

Nars is *supposed* to be a high-end product, commanding top dollar for their cosmetics. This is the 3rd product I've used & the 3rd time I've been disappointed. I highly recommend you skip them entirely & take yourself to a MAC store! MAC's cosmetics last 3 times as long, contain higher pigments & are of much better quality for far less money. I was taken in by the hype, I should've stuck by the brand I trust.

Not impressed, Nars.

So many silver polishes I've tried were too dark or tarnished looking, so I took a chance on this one only to find it is a bright, shimmery silver. It dries fast, is mostly free of scent and self-leveled really well.

This review is for NARS' Orgasm color, which I bought on Amazon. Although the quality of the NARS product line seems to be fine (it uses safer ingredients than your average nail polish, some colors appear to be nice), I didn't not have such luck with Orgasm. When I reviewed the color sample online I had expected it to be a slightly pinker version of normal fingernail colors. However, when I received it, it was sparklier than it appeared to be in the picture, and there was also an ugly sheen to it, which only reminded me of bacteria and mold.

I don't know about you, but I don't want unexpected yellow coloring on my nails, much less have it coming from something called Orgasm. Unfortunately I cannot return it on Amazon, so this nail polish will gather dust in the back of my medicine cabinet.

I bought the item (eligible for 2-day shipping) on 6/9/2013, and it didn't arrive until yesterday 6/21/2013. It took 2 weeks as opposed to 2-day shipping. HOW SLOW!!!

I just tried it on and realized that somehow it didn't apply as easily and evenly as the sample I tried at a local Sephora store. I was amazed by the effect in the local store and bought the nail polish on amazon immediately. But I'm not nearly as impressed by this particular bottle I just received after much anticipation!
