I've had this rig for about a month now and use it about once a day. Like many, I have allergies and this rig does help...
however, the bottle is thin plastic, and basically, has a top that resembles a dish detergent top.
(In fact, I don't see any difference)
My main gripe about this rig, is that the pop top, pops closed sometimes while you are irrigating even under slight pressure.
(In other words, if you put too much pressure while trying to seal the bottle against your nostril, the cap may close on you).
The marketing pitch claims you don't have to tilt your head. This is bunk if you want to be able to use all of the solution in the bottle.
You will still need to tilt your head. (Frankly, this is no big deal)
As far as cost, for what you get, 20 bucks is too much. In fact, it's a rip off for what is essentially a dish detergent bottle.
Don't buy the packet/refills... they are a ripoff too!
Instead, here is how to save some $$$ on the "solution"
Mix your own (this will fit into the bottle as the bottle I have is 8 ounces or 1 cup)
1 cup water
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)

I love Dr. Hana's Nasopure! The bottle is a great design and easy to use. I use it when my allergies or a cold are driving me nuts and it helps so much.

I can also say that I know Dr. Hana personally since she was my kid's pediatrician (she's a GREAT doctor) and she always encouraged this treatment before she started marketing it.

However, if you balk at the cost, I would suggest buying the starter kit and then you an mix your own solution when the packets run out! 1/2 tsp each of baking soda and canning salt (or sea salt) and fill to the line on the side of the bottle... that's what I do.

This does the job well, and the included solutions are nice. I'm debating on whether or not to order more powdered solution or just mix some up myself.

I would have given it 5 stars, but there is the slightest flaw in the design - the nozzle pulls out to open it, and pushes down (just like a dishwasher bottle.) This is easy to operate, however, if pushed up against the nostril to get a good seal, sometimes the nozzle pushed to the shut position, stopping the process.

It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough (with my nostrils, anyway) to have to re-open it again. Not a big complaint, but that issue might be mitigated with a twist on/off version instead of the pull/push operation.

Otherwise a great product!

This product was easy to use and slightly less messy than an old-fashioned neti-pot. Obviously when you are squirting water up your nose, there's going to be some mess. But the squeeze bottle seems to help with this in that I don't have to tilt my head at that awkward angle. Plus because it is much smaller, it is easier to travel with.

I've been using a traditional neti pot for years, and I am shocked at how much better the Nasopure bottle is. The pressure cleans the sinuses better and faster. I also purchased one for my daughter. Nasopure is much easier for kids to use than a neti pot. The saline packets are far too expensive. I use the Waterpik ones that also have the cylinder shaped packaging instead.

This is the best, my child had major post nasal drip and made these throat clearing noses all day. We were using prescription nasal spray but gave it up , by using this before bed every night. Half a packet of the salt and warm water, and then let them squeeze a bit until the water flows and and blow, then repeat on the other side. They will get used to it, and you will see results.

Our little 2 year old is always up for medicine or just about anything that you give her, not sure what she thought it was, but I am sure she had a different idea, even though I told her it was for her nose and she staid still, ones I squeezed the Nasopure Little Squirt (bottle) as the water came out from the other side she just did not like it. I knew right there that it worked, but we still had Kira to try it.

Our 4 almost 5 year old daughter (Kira ) was not thrilled about water going up her nose, but seeing her sister do it helped and after the first time the others were not so bad. It was actually really good all the stuff that came out, she could not believe that she had all that junk inside her little nose.

Benefits of the use:
* Gently removes pollen, mold, dust, mucus and other pollutants.
* Refreshes while moisturizing the nasal lining.
* Non habit-forming.
* Can be used with prescription nasal sprays.
* Safe enough for anyone age 2 and above.

We have all taken advantage of this new "nose cleaner" at our house. And while it is actually meant to be used on the go because of it's convenient size, we love that we can use it at home, or take it with us wherever we go.

After using the Nasopure Little Squirt I can't see us going without it, yet I will admit that considering it is essentially a small bottle with and angle it may be a bit pricey, yet I am glad we have it and hopefully it will last us a very long time.
