My wife and I have used this pole for about 8 years. It adjusts quickly and can be disassembled fast for packing in a checked bag. Easy to carry on a backpack for use when the going gets tough. Has done everything asked of it and no part of it has failed. We have put a lot of stress and strain on this pole over the years. I have not used the monopod feature yet, but would rely on it if I have to use a long lens (300mm +). Leki makes a top notch product.
