Very loose, Its a good price, but the inside of the VGA connector is so shallow I cant fasten it with the VGA cable screws, so its connected by just pins, and tends to come a bit loose and distort the image, i often have to wiggle it to get the image normal again, which being behind my desk is really annoying.

The long cables I purchased from Amazon, I install them behind the wall board,and these wall plates look like regular plugs,the I can use if I want to to connect my computer , and the other end my tv.

I needed a couple of these to run VGA and audio signals to my non HDMI LCD projector, and this fit the need very well! It is extremely well made and should last much longer than my need for them (my next projector will no doubt have HDMI input).

even though i didnt get the right cable I like this product because it includes the audio that is necessary for a ceiling mounted projector. I like the pig tail that allows you to attach the audio at any angle within the box that is necessary.

I liked the concept of this product but the issue I had was installing into wallbox, the audio cable comes straight out the back and therefore does not bend easily for the install. On a 2x4 wall, a little tight, can be done though.

I ordered two of these wall plates so I could run headphones and a vga monitor to my recording iso booth. They came promptly in the mail - so that was appreciated! The vga connectors work great! BUT BOTH of my wall plates have a problem with their 3.5mm stereo jacks. This did not render the wall plate entirely unusable, but I diagnosed the problem and it was definitely the connector plates for the 3.5mm and not the cables I ran inside the wall plates. Unfortunately, now I have to purchase a female to female 3.5mm coupler to stick in one of my wall plates - the other I was able to use the male interior cable (purchased separately) by pulling it through the plate hole where I removed the jack, and using some electrical tape on both ends of the plate to hold it in place. I know this is a very ad-hoc solution, but hey it beats buying more plates!!!

The plate seems to be well made but I am not convinced of the durability of the 3.5mm audio connector. The wire was kinked pretty severely when the plate arrived.

This is as good a product as you can get for the price, but the barrel connectors on the inside aren't deep enough for an extended VGA cable to connect to it securely, so you end up just having it connected with the pins and hoping that it doesn't work it's way loose.
