These pizza screens seem to be hard to find locally. I ordered a 14" to replace a similar pizza screen that I received as a gift some 20 years ago. Anyhow, if you like to have crisp crust identical to placing a pizza right on an oven rack, than this is what you want. The advantage of using the screen is that there is no mess left in the oven and you can also easily remove the pizza from the oven. If you like a softer pizza, than this is not what you want. The 14" size seems to be about right for most frozen pizzas.

I bought a couple of these when they were one sale and they worked great. I always had a problem with the bottom of the pizza crust not getting very crispy and staying more soft bread like when making home made pizza. When I used these pizza screens the crust was perfect, nice and crispy. I worked in a pizza restaurant for 5 years and this is the best crust I have been able to get at home.

The two pans I ordered are 11" in diameter and fit side by side inside a five burner stove oven - see pictures . The quality of the pans are similar to the domino's wire mesh pan. These pans are not sold locally. The first thing I did (thanks to the instructions of another reviewer) when the pans arrived was coat them in olive oil (cooking spray has too much water), for the coating to adhere and place them in the oven rack, see pictures. I experimented with three different pizza pies & toppings to compare differences. Our regular medium pie pan (w/o holes) baked a Marguerita at 500 F for 25 min while the other two personals (pepperoni/mushroom & plain) pizza pies were placed in the new pans and baked at same temp for less than half the time of the reg pan. We were able to remove the pizza nicely from the new pans without any problem. We washed the pans after baking while being very careful to NOT strip the oil coating we purposefully created initially. Wonderful crust, I've uploaded pictures of the process.

We have an ultra expensive pizza stone that stinks up the entire house. My husband loves to cook and saw a pizza show where the Italian chef was using a home kitchen. The chef prepared and cooked directly on a pizza screen without a stone or special oven. We did the same with my husband homemade dough. It was fantastic! Better than any pizza parlor. That stone is history. These are great we purchased two. Cleaning is super easy. We had no problem with the pizza sticking to the screen. Highly recommended!! :-)

Here's the trick to remember when you use a wire mesh pizza screen: Lots of flour on the bottom of the dough! If you don't do that, chances are you'll have to pry your pizza loose with a spatula which makes for not-so-appetizing looking results. But the screen cleans up easily even after such an ooops. Great crust when it's done right!

Makes a great crispy crust. Crust did not stick, slid right off screen. When we received the screens, we coated them with oil and baked the screens in the oven for about 20 minutes. Love the pizza screens

I have used this screen for a few years with good success making pizza and baked goods such as pastry and pretzels. The screen allows hot air to circulate at the bottom of the pizza and pastries to better cook evenly. It is made with aluminum so it heats up quickly and cools fast when oven is off. The washing of this screen, as with other screens of similar design, is not the easiest. Eventually, the screen will look used and discolored but will not in any way affect the good performance.
