The Hasselblad 500 C/M is not the best of ergonomics. It's a box and takes some practice to hold and shoot. The strap allows for the camera to hang around the neck without to constantly hold. This strap is solid and well manufactured.

Excellent strap really. Ok, the Hassi is not a very convenient walk-around camera no matter what. But this strap almost makes it so. The clips make a very secure connection to the camera. Worry free I would say. The strap is wide enough to be comfortable. This strap was recently used to carry the camera around daily on a five day vacation. Worked perfect. Also, the clips and strap do not interfere with the levers and cranks of the camera.

I needed a strap, and this works. It fastens like it is supposed to, and seems well enough constructed. I don't have an official Hasselblad comparison in this size, but I do have the official Hasselblad hand strap, and in comparison, the metal clips on the sides of this seem flimsier, and the leather lighter weight. To be expected, I suppose, but I am not as confident of its strength as I am of the original manufacturer equipment.

Usable, but I keep a hand on the camera along with it.

It fits and works which is the positive. The finish and details were very rough and not as clean as I would have liked, the metal clips had sharp and jagged edges making them a hazard so it took a blood donation from me while unwrapping it. But just a few minutes in the shop with a file and sanding pad and strap is working well. It is a solid strap just no excuse for selling a product with such a poor finish and sharp edges in todays world,

The Hasselblad shoulder strap quality came as a surprise, I was expecting a low quality strap for the price with shipping $18.00.
The strap is well made of heavy duty cotton cord and is one inch in width, which gives it a secure feeling. The leather ends are of good quality and the metal clips that attach to the camera are made of quality metal - which makes the whole package a durable shoulder neck strap for the Hasselblad camera for every day use.

Upon receipt of this strap and attempting to install it on my Hasselblad, I noticed that one of the lugs was installed reversed so that when the strap is attached to the camera the strap is twisted. Disappointed in this product.

This strap feels a bit cheap when you have it attached to a Hasselblad. It feels like it doesn't belong. It gets the job done though, and is a basic strap that hooks in nicely to the camera. This strap would be a better deal if you could remove the latches and attach them to a better strap.

However, when you look at this as a $17 strap shipped, then it's exactly ad advertised and does what it should.

It's certainly sturdy, and capable of carring the weight of the camera, but the cheesy ends are not leather and you can barely read the stamping of the word Hasselblad on it.. It was so faint, why bother???? but I will use it, I guess..
