bottom line: very cheap construction — not built to last.
The only reason I bought this is to replace Clic's I’ve lost over the years. The eraser is a lot stiffer than what you'd find on the round Clic's, not as gummy. It doesn’t erase as well imo but it makes up for it in the triangular design. So much easier to find a crisp edge for precision. I really like it. What I do not like is the horrid construction. My barrel has started to crack after several months of use (see image). I still use, on a regular basis, several Clic's (ZE21) I bought in the early 90's. Here, Pentel decided to use a very thin and very brittle polymer for the barrel. Really??? Also, there are very visible [polymer] flow lines all over the body which speaks volumes about their manufacturing process -- its all about quantity with little attention to detail.
