I bought these figuring they weren't going to be fantastic. They're not wonderful, but they will get the job done, provided you're doing light work with them. The handles are very lightweight (aluminum maybe?), and the design of them means that, the way I hold them, I tend to unscrew them while working. However, the different assortment of blades is well worth the price. There's a blade for just about everything, from rough carving all the way to detail work. The set as a whole would be great for a beginning carver, when you're looking for a decent product for less money. Do you really want to spend a ton of money on a hobby that you may not like?

The contents ended up with glue spilt all over. Many of the blades are stuck to the plastic liner of the case. The case couldn't contain the blades either. There were three floating in the shipping box and about four that aren't anywhere to be found.

With my job, I use exacto knives every day. I was a little disappointed in the quality of these knives.
The packaging arrived in great shape and quickly.
The blue box that holds the knife set is sturdy and a nice blue color, with clasps.
Upon opening, I'd noticed that mpst of the blades had fallen off of the magnetic strips and there were a few blades missing from the box.
The knife holders are very thin and cheap. For the price I got these for, I can't really complain, as it did come with a variety of blades and I can use the knife holders as back ups for when I temporarily misplace my exacto knives.

when received, i opened the merchandise to discover one of my razors buried nearly entirely in a super glue tube after both the the mounted razor and the tube had somehow become dislodged from their respective areas of the kit

An oily mess with several missing blades & picks; everything knocked out of position from whence it's supposed to be stuck to cheap and warped plastic magnets. Exterior case is kind of OK, but internal insert is incredibly cheap and flimsy plastic. I'd not purchase it again nor recommend it. On the up side, it does have a few strange blades and picks I've never seen before. Not worth sending back: I'll get some use out of some of it eventually. Way over-priced at just over $25 with shipping. I might have picked this up at a close-out sale for $10 if I'd seen it. Or not.

Great variety and great price. The knives (holders) are made out of cheap plastic and at times the blades don't feel completely secure in them. But you still get a lot for your money. I've gotten a lot of use out of them on project with students - and no injuries yet!:)
