This tool is great. My only complaint is the tool's size, but I should have checked into that before ordering. It barely fits into my bunker gear pocket, and only at an angle. It provides great leverage for cutting heavy cable, though.

The first one I received did not have the glass breaker but Amazon made it very easy to return and within a couple of days I had the replacement that was correct. I have not had a chance to use it yet but I have it attached to my turnouts and ready to go for the next TC. When I get a chance to use it I will consider changing to five stars but since the first one came in defective it gets four.

Large enough to do the job, small enough to be handy, tough, multi-functional. This thing is well-engineered, and the new version without the punch is proof of Channelllock's good response to customer feedback. If you need to punch a window, use the corner of the prybar.

Here is a short review: I use it in my firefighter gear, and it is slightly too big to fit in the pocket of my MORNING PRIDE coat or pants. I wish they had a smaller version (which I think they do now). Don't get the one with the window punch, it is useless. I do not use it anymore because of its size.

I bought one of these for work and I am extremely happy with it. It is large and heavy but you basically are carrying multiple tools at once.

The only problem I have with this item is that it does not fit in my coat pocket. It barely fits in my pants cargo pocket diagonally. But at my volunteer house, we carry better turnout gear and it fits just fine in any pocket there.

A must have for any firefighter, great multi tool for MVAs and also structure fires. I prefer te 89 over the 87 due to its length, easy to reach under a hood with the longer 89 then the shorter 87. Fits comfortably in gear pockets.
