Color: Lime and Blue Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
If you've ever needed to attached a CD or DVD to a report or in a notebook, you'll love this product. With a square of post-it note adhesive on the back of each plastic, see-through envelope, you have the option of sticking anywhere ever you need to put a disc, and to reposition it or move it to another location later. The tabs on the envelopes could be a convenient way to add a note, if required.

I love these pockets and have used almost the entire pack since getting them only a few weeks ago. The only thing I don't love is the color scheme: blue envelopes with lime green tabs. I'm an artist, so when I use them it's usual attached to something that already has a defined color palette, and blue and lime green usually (always) clashes. I have had to cut the tab off each time I've used them.

If you are not design-oriented, this will probably not be an issue for you and other than that, these are very cool, very useful envelopes.

PS - It always makes my day to know that people find these reviews helpful. I usually respond to comments the same day, so if you have a question or comment (even if it's just to say, Hi!") feel free to post it below.

Thanks, Claire

This is a new product that is a fantastic idea for storing cd's in any type of book or folder! This particular PocketTab is cd sized, but you could store any other items inside that fit this size, such as photos, cards or receipts. It is basically a sturdy, thin plastic cd holder that is envelope style and stays securely closed. It has a tab attached for labeling the contents and for easily finding it when it is inserted in a book, notebook or folder.

I found this to be a valuable holder for a cd, which I am using in a family history book. I can attach the PocketTab in the book, so my photo cd can be inserted in the book itself. The only thing I did not like about this PocketTab was the adhesive used on the back, which is rather weak, as they purposely made it weak, so it can be re-positioned. For a cd holder, I would prefer an adhesive that is permanent, so the holder could never get loose, possibly falling out and breaking the cd.

This PocketTab is a great idea, but as a cd holder, it really needs permanent glue, so the holder stays in place, keeping the cd from being damaged. I would have given this PocketTab 5 stars if I didn't have to use my own stronger adhesive to keep the cd holder permanently in place, as the adhesive they use is just too weak and easily comes off when turning the page.

At work I use 1/2" 3-ring binders for our promotional and ad copy material. All print documentation of a project goes in the binder, a tabbed section divider is added, and then I have a CD with all the computer files pertaining to the project. I had been using special CD sleeves which have two holes punched in one edge to mount in the binder, these were fine, but not very inexpensive.

I was happy to see this new Avery option, but was concerned that the pocket wouldn't adhere well, or that the CD wouldn't be captured securely enough. However, at half the cost of the current solution, these were worth a try.

So far I am very pleased. I have adhered the pocket to a "cover" page for a section (60 lb cardstock) the CD stays in place and the pocket stays stuck. This takes the place of not only my CD holder, but my tabbed cover page. A nice savings!

As long as the adhesive doesn't decay over time, These are a perfect solution for our archives.

Handy for putting CDs in bound material

These are single CD pockets which come with marker tabs, a folding cover flap, and adhesive backing for sticking them to a page or inside book cover. They do not have holes for binder rings so they will have to be attached to something which does if you want to store them that way.

They are made of a good quality plastic which doesn't stick to CDs and DVDs like some cheap plastic sleeves do, so there is much less likelihood of damage from that. There is also an insert of light card stock which stiffens the sleeve and will protect your DC/DVD to some degree.

If you have a need to store CD/DVDs with printed material in a binder or similar device, these should work quite well.

Use to be I had to buy notebooks that already came with CD holders, or pockets for notecards already attached in them. NO longer!

I put one of these inside a binder of collector's cards to store some extras. Sticks well, works great- won't ruin the binder when I remove it.

I put one in my kids' notebooks to store related notecards for studying/notes, etc. Love it! Granted, it can't hold more than about 8 to 10 notecards, but that's often just enough.

I use them inside file folders to store disks of info, or receipts for warranties, etc.

It holds so much more than just disks, and it sticks pretty well to most surfaces, like a "post-it" note would.

Yay Avery!

The PocketTabs are little slips that have a sticky side (if you remove the covering paper) so you can attach it to things such as notes or your wall. They seem like they'd work really well for scrap-booking or just keeping files organized.
Notes especially would benefit from the tabs. Anything small you need included in your notebook or in a folder, just stick in the tab and stick the tab on. True to their name, they have a colored tab that helps mark the place where the pocket is.
Right now I'm using a few to hold some CDs, they're pretty slim but can fit 2 or 3 CDs each.
Great organization devices. The blue is pretty.
