The hospital gave this to me after the birth of my son, and what a miracle product! I used it after the birth of my daughter as well (blue can, not red antibacterial can!). You have to have this stuff on hand if your expecting! Also, I take it on vacation in my beach bag now. My nephew was stung by jellyfish in Hawaii, and the doctor recommended this product. I started carrying it and gave it to a mom to use on her daughter who had been stung, and relief was immediate! Just a really great product!

I bought this for my wife to use for postpartum care. it worked okay for that purpose, she did not need to use it very much to relieve pain. I find myself using it more to relieve the itch from mosquito bites. It works well for that purpose too, I just have to spray it on and rub it into the bite.

This stuff is AWESOME for after childbirth if you have a vaginal delivery. Some hospitals will even send you home with some, but I didn't want to take the chance. When pain pills just don't seem to completely take the discomfort away (or the itch when your stitches start healing) this stuff works wonders. Colorless and odorless so it won't stain or mess up your clothes, and it works immediately and lasts for a good amount of time (it's best to use it each time you use the restroom). I'm sure there are other uses too, but I'm glad I knew about this one because it really made the recovery process so much easier.

Relieved itching and pain (vaginal) after childbirth. I used it for about 2 1/2 -3 weeks after that! Lasted long and still have some left. At times there was a slight sting right after application but it was only for a few seconds and then the pain and itch relief followed. Great for itching healing stitches!

This stuff is like magic, it works instantly! It comes in great packaging that prevents any sort of damage to the container or accidental spraying/leaking. Such a godsend after delivering a baby! Some hospitals will give you some to bring home after you deliver but I'd play it safe and get your own in case yours does not--or if you are planning a home delivery and won't get all the freebies.
